Description

Introducing the Polish Pottery Large Latte/Soup Cups by Manufaktura in the captivating "Soaring Swallows" pattern (WK57). These wide mugs are not just your ordinary cups; they are versatile and perfect for soup, chili, coffee, or tea!

The "Soaring Swallows" pattern is a true masterpiece, featuring a mesmerizing blend of design elements incorporating Birds and Flowers in a predominantly Blue color with accents in Yellow and Green. Picture a white background adorned with small yellow flowers alternating with very thin green fronds in the center, surrounded by a backdrop of thin green foliage. Clusters of tiny orange dots dance with groups of three tiny orange flowers and four teal leaves, all joined by very thin teal lines.

But that's not all! As you gaze towards the edges, you'll be captivated by the dark blue birds from a top-down perspective, gracefully orbiting the pattern with their wings spread and heads facing counterclockwise. The background near the edges is a fine blend of light blue and white, while the space between the edges and the green foliage around the center bursts with a vibrant shade of yellow. This pattern is truly a work of art!

What makes this pattern even more special is that it falls under the Signature level of artistry. Artists who achieve this level of accomplishment have the privilege of creating their own designs from start to finish. They oversee the production of every piece in their patterns, which limits the supply and makes each item a treasured collector's piece. Look for the "UNIKAT" stamp on the bottom, along with the artist's signature, to ensure you have an authentic Signature pattern.

With a capacity of 18 oz (2.25 cups), measuring 5.75" wide (including the handle) and 3.5" tall, these cups are made and hand-painted in Boleslawiec, Poland by skilled artisans. Polish Pottery is not only functional but also incredibly beautiful, adding useful splashes of color to your home. Mix and match different pieces to create stunning combinations that will leave your guests in awe. And don't worry about its durability, as these cups are tough, chip-resistant, and made from high-quality materials. Plus, they are free of lead, nickel, and cadmium, making them safe for all your food and beverages.

What's more, this product comes from Manufaktura, the first manufacturer of Polish pottery that The Polish Pottery Outlet chose to work with when they opened in 2006. Established in 1992, Manufaktura has not only won awards for their stunning designs but has also played a crucial role in promoting Polish pottery worldwide. Considered trendsetters in the pottery industry, they are highly regarded as one of the most important producers of Polish pottery in Boleslawiec.

Care information

Cleaning

Polish Pottery is Dishwasher safe! Or, clean by hand using regular dish soap and scrub brush.

Guidelines to keep your pottery in excellent condition:

You may safely use Polish pottery in the microwave and in a conventional oven at temperatures up to 425°F. We recommend you heat your stoneware up to temperature with the oven. Make sure to always cover the entire bottom of the dish when baking. For example, you don't want to put a single chicken breast in the center of a baker and leave the rest of the surface area uncovered, as the empty spots will heat at a different rate than those with food on them. Polish pottery does not like quick changes in temperature or uneven heat sources, and thermal shock WILL result in a broken dish.

Never place your pottery directly on a hot stovetop burner!

While Polish pottery is extremely durable, it should not be taken directly from the freezer and placed into a hot oven. In addition, cold water or frozen food should not be placed in a hot piece of pottery. Always allow cooling or warming to room temperatures before heating in an oven or placing in a freezer. If taken care of properly, your Polish pottery can last for generations!
