Let's take a closer look at the intricate details of this pattern. In the center, you'll find simple white flowers against a mesmerizing blue background. Surrounding the center, a band of large poppies with vibrant green stems dances against a crisp white background. This delightful combination creates a visual feast for the eyes and will instantly brighten up your day.
Did you know that the "Poppy Garden" pattern falls under the Traditional level of artistry? Traditional patterns are not only the most common and recognizable patterns in the world of Polish pottery, but they also exude a timeless elegance. Highly skilled artists use the "punching" technique of hand stamping to create an array of designs and colors that are largely inspired by nature. These patterns are considered "simpler," but that doesn't mean they lack creativity or beauty.
One of the unique aspects of Traditional patterns is the variance you'll find from piece to piece. Since so many different artists take on these designs, each cup becomes a one-of-a-kind work of art. So, when you bring home the Polish Pottery Large Latte/Soup Cups in the "Poppy Garden" pattern, you're not just purchasing a functional piece, but also a true testament to the individuality and craftsmanship of the artisans in Boleslawiec, Poland.
Speaking of Boleslawiec, that's where these stunning cups are made and hand-painted by skilled artisans at Manufaktura. Polish Pottery is known for being both functional and beautiful, and these cups are no exception. They are not only safe for food and beverages, but they are also dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, freezer, and oven safe (up to 425 degrees). Made from high-quality materials, these cups are tough, durable, and chip resistant. Plus, they are free of lead, nickel, or cadmium, ensuring your safety and peace of mind.
When you choose the Polish Pottery Large Latte/Soup Cups in the "Poppy Garden" pattern, you're not just getting a remarkable piece of pottery, but you're also supporting a brand with a rich history. Manufaktura, the manufacturer behind these cups, was the first choice of The Polish Pottery Outlet when they opened in 2006. Established in 1992, Manufaktura has garnered awards for their stunning designs and their tireless efforts to promote Polish pottery around the world. They are trendsetters in the pottery industry and are widely recognized as one of the most important producers of Polish pottery in Boleslawiec.

Cleaning
Polish Pottery is Dishwasher safe! Or, clean by hand using regular dish soap and scrub brush.
Guidelines to keep your pottery in excellent condition:
You may safely use Polish pottery in the microwave and in a conventional oven at temperatures up to 425°F. We recommend you heat your stoneware up to temperature with the oven. Make sure to always cover the entire bottom of the dish when baking. For example, you don't want to put a single chicken breast in the center of a baker and leave the rest of the surface area uncovered, as the empty spots will heat at a different rate than those with food on them. Polish pottery does not like quick changes in temperature or uneven heat sources, and thermal shock WILL result in a broken dish.
Never place your pottery directly on a hot stovetop burner!
While Polish pottery is extremely durable, it should not be taken directly from the freezer and placed into a hot oven. In addition, cold water or frozen food should not be placed in a hot piece of pottery. Always allow cooling or warming to room temperatures before heating in an oven or placing in a freezer. If taken care of properly, your Polish pottery can last for generations!
