Are you ready to add a touch of elegance to your dessert table? Look no further than the Polish Pottery 7.25" Round Dessert Plate by Manufaktura in the enchanting "Poppy Garden" pattern (EJ01). Boleslawiec Table settings are known for capturing attention, and this small but beautiful dessert plate is no exception. With its heirloom quality, this plate is ready to take center stage when it's time for dessert, so don't fill up on the main course just yet!
The "Poppy Garden" pattern is a true masterpiece, incorporating design elements that showcase flowers in a predominantly red color with accents in blue, white, and green. Picture simple white flowers delicately arranged against a captivating blue background in the center. Surrounding the center, a band of large poppies with vibrant green stems dances against a pristine white background. It's no wonder this pattern is considered a traditional level of artistry – it's one of the most common and recognizable patterns in the world of Polish pottery.
When it comes to creating these traditional patterns, highly skilled artists use the "punching" technique of hand stamping. Drawing inspiration from nature, they unleash an array of designs and colors that will leave you breathless. These "simpler" patterns have no limit in production, as a large pool of talented artists combine their efforts to satisfy the demand. As a result, you may notice slight variations from piece to piece, making each plate truly unique.
But the beauty of this dessert plate doesn't stop at its design. With a 7.25" diameter, it's the perfect size to showcase your favorite sweet treats. And let's not forget its origin – made and hand-painted in Boleslawiec, Poland by skilled artisans. Polish Pottery is not only functional but also breathtakingly beautiful, adding useful splashes of color to any home. Plus, you have the freedom to mix and match different patterns to create stunning combinations that will impress your guests.
Not only is this dessert plate a feast for the eyes, but it's also safe for food and beverages. You can confidently use it in the dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, freezer, and even the oven (up to 425 degrees). Crafted from high-quality materials, it is tough, durable, and chip-resistant. And here's the best part – it's free of lead, nickel, or cadmium, so you can indulge in your favorite desserts without any worries.
So, why wait? Bring a piece of Polish artistry into your home with this stunning dessert plate from Manufaktura. Established in 1992, Manufaktura has been at the forefront of the pottery industry, winning awards for their breathtaking designs and their dedication to promoting Polish pottery around the world. Cleaning
Polish Pottery is Dishwasher safe! Or, clean by hand using regular dish soap and scrub brush.
Guidelines to keep your pottery in excellent condition:
You may safely use Polish pottery in the microwave and in a conventional oven at temperatures up to 425°F. We recommend you heat your stoneware up to temperature with the oven. Make sure to always cover the entire bottom of the dish when baking. For example, you don't want to put a single chicken breast in the center of a baker and leave the rest of the surface area uncovered, as the empty spots will heat at a different rate than those with food on them. Polish pottery does not like quick changes in temperature or uneven heat sources, and thermal shock WILL result in a broken dish.
Never place your pottery directly on a hot stovetop burner!
While Polish pottery is extremely durable, it should not be taken directly from the freezer and placed into a hot oven. In addition, cold water or frozen food should not be placed in a hot piece of pottery. Always allow cooling or warming to room temperatures before heating in an oven or placing in a freezer. If taken care of properly, your Polish pottery can last for generations!
