Imagine a kitchen where every meal feels like a celebration, thanks to the stunning Zaklady Polish Pottery Baker in the charming "Grecian Dot" pattern. This rectangular masterpiece, measuring a generous 10.5" x 13", is not just a baking dish but a portal to a world of vibrant traditions and exquisite artistry. Each piece is lovingly hand-painted in Boleslawiec, Poland, by artisans who breathe life into the classic white dots and swirling Grecian squares that dance across a serene blue background, accented by touches of green. This pattern, a beloved hallmark of traditional Polish pottery, brings a slice of European elegance right into your home.
The beauty of this baker lies not only in its appearance but also in its versatility. Whether it’s bubbling lasagnas, golden-brown cobblers, or hearty party side dishes, this dish handles it all with aplomb. Beyond its visual appeal, the "Grecian Dot" pattern is crafted using a time-honored "punching" technique, where skilled artists hand-stamp each design, ensuring that no two pieces are exactly alike. Despite being part of what is considered a "simpler" category of patterns, its charm is undeniable, making it a sought-after piece for collectors and new buyers alike. Plus, it’s a breeze to use with its compatibility with dishwashers, microwaves, and even ovens up to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
Not only is the Zaklady Polish Pottery Baker a functional asset in the kitchen, it’s also steeped in a rich history. Originating from Zaklady Ceramiczne, the oldest and largest manufacturer in Boleslawiec, this pottery continues a legacy that was nearly lost during World War II but was resurrected in 1946. Each piece is a testament to resilience and commitment to craftsmanship, free of lead, nickel, and cadmium, making it as safe as it is stunning. When you choose this baker, you’re not just selecting a kitchen utensil; you’re embracing a piece of art that has weathered history and emerged more beautiful. Prepare to dazzle your guests and transform every meal into a festive gathering with this exquisite Polish pottery.

Cleaning
Polish Pottery is Dishwasher safe! Or, clean by hand using regular dish soap and scrub brush.
Guidelines to keep your pottery in excellent condition:
You may safely use Polish pottery in the microwave and in a conventional oven at temperatures up to 425°F. We recommend you heat your stoneware up to temperature with the oven. Make sure to always cover the entire bottom of the dish when baking. For example, you don't want to put a single chicken breast in the center of a baker and leave the rest of the surface area uncovered, as the empty spots will heat at a different rate than those with food on them. Polish pottery does not like quick changes in temperature or uneven heat sources, and thermal shock WILL result in a broken dish.
Never place your pottery directly on a hot stovetop burner!
While Polish pottery is extremely durable, it should not be taken directly from the freezer and placed into a hot oven. In addition, cold water or frozen food should not be placed in a hot piece of pottery. Always allow cooling or warming to room temperatures before heating in an oven or placing in a freezer. If taken care of properly, your Polish pottery can last for generations!
