Description
Imagine a dinner table graced with the charming allure of the Zaklady Polish Pottery Bowl, an exquisite piece that not only serves your favorite dishes but also serves as a centerpiece of conversation. This 7" scalloped round bowl, adorned with the captivating "Grecian Dot" pattern, brings a touch of traditional elegance to any meal. The design features classic white dots elegantly dispersed across a rich blue background, bordered by Grecian square swirls in harmonious shades of blue and green. Crafted in the heart of Boleslawiec, Poland, this bowl is a testament to the timeless artistry that Polish pottery is renowned for.
Not just a feast for the eyes, each bowl is painstakingly hand-painted by skilled artisans using the "punching" technique—a method where patterns are created using hand stamps. This technique allows for a vibrant expression of nature-inspired designs, making each piece uniquely its own. Despite being part of what is considered a "Traditional" level of artistry, the most recognizable and abundantly produced, no two bowls are exactly alike due to the individual craftsmanship of each artist. Whether it's serving a hearty soup or brightening up your kitchen shelves, this bowl's durability and functionality make it a perfect addition to any home. It's safe for use in the dishwasher, microwave, freezer, and oven—truly a blend of beauty and practicality.
By choosing this Polish pottery bowl, you are not only acquiring a functional kitchen item but also a slice of history. Zaklady Ceramiczne, the producer of this bowl, stands as the oldest and largest manufacturer of Polish pottery in Boleslawiec. Their rich heritage dates back to the 1800s, surviving through the devastation of World War II and thriving to continue their legacy of craftsmanship. Each purchase supports these artisans and preserves the traditional techniques that have made Polish pottery renowned worldwide. Mix and match it with other pieces to create a stunning tableau that reflects your style while celebrating an artisan tradition that has beautified homes for centuries.

Cleaning
Polish Pottery is Dishwasher safe! Or, clean by hand using regular dish soap and scrub brush.
Guidelines to keep your pottery in excellent condition:
You may safely use Polish pottery in the microwave and in a conventional oven at temperatures up to 425°F. We recommend you heat your stoneware up to temperature with the oven. Make sure to always cover the entire bottom of the dish when baking. For example, you don't want to put a single chicken breast in the center of a baker and leave the rest of the surface area uncovered, as the empty spots will heat at a different rate than those with food on them. Polish pottery does not like quick changes in temperature or uneven heat sources, and thermal shock WILL result in a broken dish.
Never place your pottery directly on a hot stovetop burner!
While Polish pottery is extremely durable, it should not be taken directly from the freezer and placed into a hot oven. In addition, cold water or frozen food should not be placed in a hot piece of pottery. Always allow cooling or warming to room temperatures before heating in an oven or placing in a freezer. If taken care of properly, your Polish pottery can last for generations!
