Unikat/Signature Designs

(2187 products)

Artists achieving the highest level of artistic accomplishment, the true "masters" of their craft, earn the privilege of creating their own designs from beginning to end. These designing artists are responsible for overseeing every piece produced in these patterns, thus limiting the supply and making them treasured collector's items.

Meaning "unique" in Polish, a Unikat stamp on the bottom of your Polish pottery represents a sort of copyright symbol, indicating that a pattern belongs to a specific manufacturer. Signature patterns not only bear the Unikat stamp on the bottom, but also the signature of the artist.
