Description

Imagine a splash of elegance and vibrant tradition gracing your kitchen or bath! Introducing the Polish Pottery Container, crafted by the renowned artisans at W.R. Ceramika. This exquisite round, covered container measures a charming 5" x 4" and holds a convenient half-liter. Perfect for storing anything from cotton balls to sweeteners, its practicality is only matched by its beauty. The "Modern Blue Cascade" pattern features an enchanting array of blue flowers and cascading vines against a crisp white background, with delightful green and white accents dancing throughout the design. Each piece, uniquely hand-painted in Boleslawiec, Poland, carries the soulful touch of its creator, making it not just a container, but a piece of art.

The creation of each container involves the traditional "punching" technique of hand stamping, a method that allows highly skilled artists to breathe life into their designs. These patterns, inspired largely by nature, fall under the Traditional level of artistry, the most recognizable in the world of Polish pottery. Although considered 'simpler' in their complexity, these designs boast unlimited production without sacrificing uniqueness. As numerous artists lend their hands to these patterns, each piece varies slightly, offering you a one-of-a-kind treasure. The robust quality of Polish Pottery ensures it is not only food and beverage safe but also resistant to chips and safe for use in the dishwasher, microwave, freezer, and oven up to 425 degrees. This blend of durability and functionality makes it an ideal addition to any home.

Since its inception in 1978 by J.K. Rutyna, W.R. Ceramika has prided itself on unique designs that stand out in the world of ceramics. They specialize in floral, plant, and traditional motifs, created through a combination of hand painting and stamping techniques. As one of the smaller manufacturers, and one we receive pieces from least frequently, each container from W.R. Ceramika is exceptionally special. When you choose this Polish Pottery Container, you're not just choosing a place to store your everyday items; you're embracing a piece of Polish heritage and artistry that will surely impress your guests and add a touch of timeless elegance to your home décor.

Care information

Cleaning

Polish Pottery is Dishwasher safe! Or, clean by hand using regular dish soap and scrub brush.

Guidelines to keep your pottery in excellent condition:

You may safely use Polish pottery in the microwave and in a conventional oven at temperatures up to 425°F. We recommend you heat your stoneware up to temperature with the oven. Make sure to always cover the entire bottom of the dish when baking. For example, you don't want to put a single chicken breast in the center of a baker and leave the rest of the surface area uncovered, as the empty spots will heat at a different rate than those with food on them. Polish pottery does not like quick changes in temperature or uneven heat sources, and thermal shock WILL result in a broken dish.

Never place your pottery directly on a hot stovetop burner!

While Polish pottery is extremely durable, it should not be taken directly from the freezer and placed into a hot oven. In addition, cold water or frozen food should not be placed in a hot piece of pottery. Always allow cooling or warming to room temperatures before heating in an oven or placing in a freezer. If taken care of properly, your Polish pottery can last for generations!
