Description
Whisk yourself away to a whimsical Halloween celebration with the charming Polish Pottery Luminary, shaped like a friendly ghost, from the skilled artisans at Galia. Crafted in the delightful "Sunny Dots" pattern, this luminary features playful dots in a vibrant dance of red and yellow, accented by mysterious black touches. Just pop in a tealight—be it flickering flame or a safe, battery-operated light—and watch as this captivating ghost casts a warm, enchanting glow that softens the spooky shadows of All Hallows' Eve. This piece is not just a decoration but a portal to a festive, ghostly ambiance.
Expertly hand-painted in the renowned ceramic town of Boleslawiec, Poland, this luminary stands 5.25 inches tall, boasting a sturdy base of 4 inches in diameter. Each piece is a testament to the traditional craftsmanship of Polish pottery, known for its durability and chip resistance. These artisans employ a "punching" technique, where designs are hand-stamped using tools crafted from sea sponges, allowing for intricate patterns inspired by nature. Although the "Sunny Dots" design adheres to traditional patterns, each luminary is unique, reflecting the individual artistry of the creator and ensuring that no two are exactly alike.
Galia, the family-owned company behind this enchanting piece, prides itself on using natural raw materials sourced from the local landscapes of Boleslawiec. Their commitment to quality and tradition in creating Polish stoneware is evident in every piece. The luminary is not only a beautiful addition to your Halloween decor but also a piece of art that embodies generations of cultural heritage. Mix and match it with other Polish pottery items to create a stunning display that will leave your guests spellbound. Celebrate this Halloween with a touch of artisanal charm that lights up the room and your spirits!

Cleaning
Polish Pottery is Dishwasher safe! Or, clean by hand using regular dish soap and scrub brush.
Guidelines to keep your pottery in excellent condition:
You may safely use Polish pottery in the microwave and in a conventional oven at temperatures up to 425°F. We recommend you heat your stoneware up to temperature with the oven. Make sure to always cover the entire bottom of the dish when baking. For example, you don't want to put a single chicken breast in the center of a baker and leave the rest of the surface area uncovered, as the empty spots will heat at a different rate than those with food on them. Polish pottery does not like quick changes in temperature or uneven heat sources, and thermal shock WILL result in a broken dish.
Never place your pottery directly on a hot stovetop burner!
While Polish pottery is extremely durable, it should not be taken directly from the freezer and placed into a hot oven. In addition, cold water or frozen food should not be placed in a hot piece of pottery. Always allow cooling or warming to room temperatures before heating in an oven or placing in a freezer. If taken care of properly, your Polish pottery can last for generations!
