Description
Imagine serving your famous lasagna or that comforting family-sized casserole in a dish that not only cooks it to perfection but also turns your dinner table into a vibrant showcase of art. Enter the Polish Pottery Baker, Lasagna Pan, by Manufaktura, measuring a generous 11" x 14". This isn’t just any baking dish; it’s a canvas featuring the stunning "Peacock in Line" pattern. Adorned with a mesmerizing design of peacock feathers sprawling across a vivid blue background, highlighted with intricate white and brown accents, this piece brings the art of the traditional Polish pottery to your kitchen.
Each dish is crafted and hand-painted in the heart of Boleslawiec, Poland, by artisans who are masters of their craft. Using the time-honored "punching" technique, these skilled artists hand-stamp each design, drawing largely from nature for inspiration. The result is a piece that’s unique not just in its look but in its story. The "Peacock in Line" is categorized under Traditional patterns, a style renowned for its widespread recognition and appeal in Polish pottery. Despite its simplicity, the variability in the hand-stamping process ensures that no two pieces are exactly alike, adding a personal touch to each creation.
Not only is this Polish Pottery Baker a feast for the eyes, but it’s also built to last and handle all your baking needs. Safe for use in the dishwasher, microwave, freezer, and oven (up to 425 degrees), this pan promises convenience as well as durability. Made from materials free of lead, nickel, and cadmium, it ensures a safe cooking experience. Whether you’re whipping up a family meal or showcasing a holiday feast, this lasagna pan from Manufaktura, a pioneer in Polish pottery since 1992, promises to be a conversation starter and a testament to your taste in fine, functional art. Mix and match with other pieces to create a stunning array that will dazzle your guests and make every meal memorable.

Cleaning
Polish Pottery is Dishwasher safe! Or, clean by hand using regular dish soap and scrub brush.
Guidelines to keep your pottery in excellent condition:
You may safely use Polish pottery in the microwave and in a conventional oven at temperatures up to 425°F. We recommend you heat your stoneware up to temperature with the oven. Make sure to always cover the entire bottom of the dish when baking. For example, you don't want to put a single chicken breast in the center of a baker and leave the rest of the surface area uncovered, as the empty spots will heat at a different rate than those with food on them. Polish pottery does not like quick changes in temperature or uneven heat sources, and thermal shock WILL result in a broken dish.
Never place your pottery directly on a hot stovetop burner!
While Polish pottery is extremely durable, it should not be taken directly from the freezer and placed into a hot oven. In addition, cold water or frozen food should not be placed in a hot piece of pottery. Always allow cooling or warming to room temperatures before heating in an oven or placing in a freezer. If taken care of properly, your Polish pottery can last for generations!
