Introducing the Polish Pottery 7.5" x 4" American Butter Dish by Manufaktura in the captivating "Sunshine Grotto" pattern (WK52). This butter dish is not just a functional item, but a true eye-catcher for your kitchen! The "Sunshine Grotto" pattern features a delightful combination of Flowers and Dots in a predominantly Yellow color with accents in Green and Red.
Imagine a bright yellow background adorned with a band of light green and white flowers lining the edges. And that's not all - tiny teal dots form long triangular clusters, pointing towards the center, with very thin green lines down the middle of each cluster. As if that wasn't enough, outlines of small orange flowers create a band near the base of the dot clusters. It's like having a burst of sunshine right in your kitchen!
But what sets this pattern apart is its status as a Signature level of artistry. Only the most accomplished artists have the privilege of creating their own designs from start to finish. These designing artists oversee the production of every piece in their patterns, limiting the supply and making them highly sought-after collector's items. You can easily spot a Signature pattern by the "UNIKAT" stamp on the bottom, along with the artist's signature.

Guidelines to keep your pottery in excellent condition:
You may safely use Polish pottery in the microwave and in a conventional oven at temperatures up to 425°F. We recommend you heat your stoneware up to temperature with the oven. Make sure to always cover the entire bottom of the dish when baking. For example, you don't want to put a single chicken breast in the center of a baker and leave the rest of the surface area uncovered, as the empty spots will heat at a different rate than those with food on them. Polish pottery does not like quick changes in temperature or uneven heat sources, and thermal shock WILL result in a broken dish.
Never place your pottery directly on a hot stovetop burner!
While Polish pottery is extremely durable, it should not be taken directly from the freezer and placed into a hot oven. In addition, cold water or frozen food should not be placed in a hot piece of pottery. Always allow cooling or warming to room temperatures before heating in an oven or placing in a freezer. If taken care of properly, your Polish pottery can last for generations!
