About this product

Introducing the Polish Pottery 6" Bowl by Manufaktura in the exquisite "Lily of the Valley" pattern (ASD). This bowl is not just your ordinary kitchenware, it is a versatile masterpiece that will bring a touch of elegance to your everyday meals! Whether you're enjoying a bowl of cereal, savoring a steaming hot soup, tossing a fresh salad, indulging in some creamy ice cream, or munching on your favorite snacks, this bowl will not only enhance your dining experience but also make a stunning statement on your table.

Let's talk about the "Lily of the Valley" pattern, shall we? Prepare to be captivated by its mesmerizing design, which combines delicate flowers in shades of blue, white, and green. The white background serves as the perfect canvas for the vibrant blossoms that take center stage. And if that's not enough to make you fall in love, the light blue bellflowers gracefully twining around a green vine will surely steal your heart.

Now, let's dive into the fascinating world of Polish pottery artistry. The "Lily of the Valley" pattern belongs to the Traditional level of artistry, which is not only the most common but also the most recognizable pattern in the world of Polish pottery. Highly skilled artists use the "punching" technique of hand stamping to create a multitude of designs and colors, drawing inspiration from the beauty of nature. These patterns may seem "simpler" in comparison to others, but they are in high demand, allowing a vast pool of talented artists to showcase their creativity. As a result, each piece is unique, making it a true work of art.

Let's talk practicality now. This 6" bowl boasts a generous capacity and dimensions, with a diameter of 6", a height of 2.25", and a capacity of 16 oz. It is made and hand-painted in Boleslawiec, Poland, by skilled artisans who pour their passion and expertise into every piece. Polish Pottery is not only a feast for the eyes but also a practical addition to your kitchen. It is safe to use in the dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, freezer, and even the oven (up to 425 degrees). The high-quality materials used are tough, durable, and chip-resistant, ensuring that your bowl will withstand the test of time.

Now, let's talk about the mastermind behind this stunning piece - Manufaktura. As the first manufacturer of Polish pottery that The Polish Pottery Outlet chose to work with when we opened in 2006, Manufaktura holds a special place in our hearts. Established in 1992, they have garnered numerous awards for their breathtaking designs and their tireless efforts to promote Polish pottery around the world. Care information

Cleaning

Polish Pottery is Dishwasher safe! Or, clean by hand using regular dish soap and scrub brush.

Guidelines to keep your pottery in excellent condition:

You may safely use Polish pottery in the microwave and in a conventional oven at temperatures up to 425°F. We recommend you heat your stoneware up to temperature with the oven. Make sure to always cover the entire bottom of the dish when baking. For example, you don't want to put a single chicken breast in the center of a baker and leave the rest of the surface area uncovered, as the empty spots will heat at a different rate than those with food on them. Polish pottery does not like quick changes in temperature or uneven heat sources, and thermal shock WILL result in a broken dish.

Never place your pottery directly on a hot stovetop burner!

While Polish pottery is extremely durable, it should not be taken directly from the freezer and placed into a hot oven. In addition, cold water or frozen food should not be placed in a hot piece of pottery. Always allow cooling or warming to room temperatures before heating in an oven or placing in a freezer. If taken care of properly, your Polish pottery can last for generations!
