Introducing the Polish Pottery 5.5" Bowl by Manufaktura in the exquisite "Woven Pansies" pattern (RV). This bowl is not just your ordinary piece of crockery - it's a versatile gem that will make your meals even more delightful! Whether you're enjoying a warm bowl of soup, a refreshing scoop of ice cream, or a crispy side salad, this bowl is the perfect companion for all your culinary adventures.
Now let's talk about the design - "Woven Pansies" is a true work of art. With its predominantly Green color and delicate accents in White and Blue, this pattern is a feast for the eyes. The white background beautifully showcases the intricate weaving in the center, while a thin band of simple blue and orange flowers adds a touch of whimsy. And let's not forget about the tiny green leaves extending from the flowers - they add a dash of natural charm that's simply irresistible!
But what makes this pattern even more special is its rich tradition. "Woven Pansies" falls under the Traditional level of artistry, which means it's one of the most recognizable patterns in the world of Polish pottery. Highly skilled artists use the unique "punching" technique to hand stamp these designs, drawing inspiration from the wonders of nature. These patterns may be considered "simpler," but there's no limit to their production. The largest pool of artists comes together to meet the demand, resulting in delightful variations from piece to piece.
Now let's talk about the technical details. This bowl boasts a capacity of 16 oz. with dimensions of 5.5" in diameter and 2.75" in height. It's the perfect size for all your culinary needs. Cleaning
Polish Pottery is Dishwasher safe! Or, clean by hand using regular dish soap and scrub brush.
Guidelines to keep your pottery in excellent condition:
You may safely use Polish pottery in the microwave and in a conventional oven at temperatures up to 425°F. We recommend you heat your stoneware up to temperature with the oven. Make sure to always cover the entire bottom of the dish when baking. For example, you don't want to put a single chicken breast in the center of a baker and leave the rest of the surface area uncovered, as the empty spots will heat at a different rate than those with food on them. Polish pottery does not like quick changes in temperature or uneven heat sources, and thermal shock WILL result in a broken dish.
Never place your pottery directly on a hot stovetop burner!
While Polish pottery is extremely durable, it should not be taken directly from the freezer and placed into a hot oven. In addition, cold water or frozen food should not be placed in a hot piece of pottery. Always allow cooling or warming to room temperatures before heating in an oven or placing in a freezer. If taken care of properly, your Polish pottery can last for generations!
