These wide mugs are not only practical for soups, chilis, coffees, and teas, but they also add a touch of sunshine to your day! With a predominantly yellow color adorned with accents of green and red, this pattern is sure to brighten up any kitchen.
The "Sunshine Grotto" pattern features a sunny yellow background with a delightful band of light green and white flowers lining the edges. But that's not all! The cups also boast tiny teal dots forming long triangular clusters, pointing towards the center. And if you look closely, you'll notice very thin green lines down the middle of each cluster. To top it off, there's a band of small orange flowers near the base of the dot clusters, adding a playful touch to the design.
But what makes this pattern truly special is that it falls under the Signature level of artistry. Only the most accomplished artists in their field have the privilege of creating their own designs from start to finish. These designing artists oversee the production of every piece in their patterns, making each item a treasured collector's item. You can easily identify Signature patterns by the "UNIKAT" stamp and the artist's signature on the bottom of the cups. It's like owning a piece of true art!
Not only are these cups visually stunning, but they are also practical. With a capacity of 18 oz (2.25 cups), a width of 5.75" (including the handle), and a height of 3.5", they are perfect for enjoying your favorite hot beverages or hearty soups. Cleaning
Polish Pottery is Dishwasher safe! Or, clean by hand using regular dish soap and scrub brush.
Guidelines to keep your pottery in excellent condition:
You may safely use Polish pottery in the microwave and in a conventional oven at temperatures up to 425°F. We recommend you heat your stoneware up to temperature with the oven. Make sure to always cover the entire bottom of the dish when baking. For example, you don't want to put a single chicken breast in the center of a baker and leave the rest of the surface area uncovered, as the empty spots will heat at a different rate than those with food on them. Polish pottery does not like quick changes in temperature or uneven heat sources, and thermal shock WILL result in a broken dish.
Never place your pottery directly on a hot stovetop burner!
While Polish pottery is extremely durable, it should not be taken directly from the freezer and placed into a hot oven. In addition, cold water or frozen food should not be placed in a hot piece of pottery. Always allow cooling or warming to room temperatures before heating in an oven or placing in a freezer. If taken care of properly, your Polish pottery can last for generations!
