Description

Introducing the Polish Pottery 6.5" Small Round Casserole by Ceramika Artystyczna in the stunning "Black Bouquet" pattern (2314). These adorable little bakers are not only functional, but they also add a touch of elegance to your kitchen. Whether you're serving up hot dips, creamy brie cheese, or delectable small cakes, this casserole dish is the perfect size for all your culinary creations.

The "Black Bouquet" pattern is a true masterpiece, with its intricate design elements that incorporate beautiful flowers in a predominantly black color, accented with delicate white details. On a crisp white background, you'll find tiny black dots and bows alternating in bands in the center, while various styles of black flowers and vines form captivating rings throughout the rest of the pattern. It's a classic design that never goes out of style.

When it comes to Polish pottery, the "Black Bouquet" pattern is considered to be of Traditional level of artistry. Traditional patterns are the most common and recognizable in the world of Polish pottery, and they never fail to impress. Skilled artists use the unique "punching" technique of hand stamping to create an array of designs and colors, drawing inspiration from the beauty of nature. These patterns are often referred to as "simpler," but their popularity knows no bounds.

Each piece of Polish Pottery is meticulously crafted and hand-painted in Boleslawiec, Poland, by the talented artisans of Ceramika Artystyczna. Established in 1950, this renowned ceramics workshop has earned international recognition for their exceptional quality and exquisite artistry. With over 1,000 forms and 3,500 patterns, Ceramika Artystyczna is the cream of the crop when it comes to Polish pottery.

Not only is this casserole dish a feast for the eyes, but it's also highly functional. Made from high-quality materials, it is tough, durable, and chip-resistant. You can safely use it in the dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, freezer, and even the oven (up to 425 degrees). And the best part? It's completely free of lead, nickel, and cadmium, so you can enjoy your meals with peace of mind.

Care information

Cleaning

Polish Pottery is Dishwasher safe! Or, clean by hand using regular dish soap and scrub brush.

Guidelines to keep your pottery in excellent condition:

You may safely use Polish pottery in the microwave and in a conventional oven at temperatures up to 425°F. We recommend you heat your stoneware up to temperature with the oven. Make sure to always cover the entire bottom of the dish when baking. For example, you don't want to put a single chicken breast in the center of a baker and leave the rest of the surface area uncovered, as the empty spots will heat at a different rate than those with food on them. Polish pottery does not like quick changes in temperature or uneven heat sources, and thermal shock WILL result in a broken dish.

Never place your pottery directly on a hot stovetop burner!

While Polish pottery is extremely durable, it should not be taken directly from the freezer and placed into a hot oven. In addition, cold water or frozen food should not be placed in a hot piece of pottery. Always allow cooling or warming to room temperatures before heating in an oven or placing in a freezer. If taken care of properly, your Polish pottery can last for generations!
