Description

Imagine a charming addition to your home that combines tradition with a touch of whimsy - the Polish Pottery Soap Dish from Manufaktura! This delightful piece, measuring 5" x 3.25", is more than just a soap dish; it's a miniature work of art. Handcrafted in the quaint town of Boleslawiec, Poland, this dish features the captivating "Heartfelt Blue" pattern. Envision cobalt blue hearts playfully swirling around a crisp white background, each ridge inside the dish thoughtfully designed to keep your soap securely in place. Whether by your bathroom sink or cradling a sponge in the kitchen, this dish brings a splash of color and charm to any space.

But what truly sets this dish apart is its heritage of craftsmanship. Each piece is a canvas where skilled artisans use the "punching" technique of hand stamping, a method that breathes life into the traditional designs inspired by nature. Despite being categorized under Traditional patterns, which are widely recognized in the realm of Polish pottery, every dish tells its own unique story. This is because the "Heartfelt Blue" design is brought to life by various artists, ensuring that no two pieces are exactly alike. These subtle variations make each dish not just a home accessory but a collectible.

Not only is the Polish Pottery Soap Dish visually appealing, but it's also built to last. Crafted from high-quality materials, it is tough, durable, and chip-resistant, free of Lead, Nickel, and Cadmium, making it as practical as it is beautiful. Since its inception in 1992, Manufaktura has set the standard in the pottery industry, recognized both for their award-winning designs and their role in promoting Polish pottery globally. Owning this dish means owning a piece of a rich artistic tradition, and is a perfect way to impress your guests with a story of art, heritage, and craftsmanship.

Care information

Cleaning

Polish Pottery is Dishwasher safe! Or, clean by hand using regular dish soap and scrub brush.

Guidelines to keep your pottery in excellent condition:

You may safely use Polish pottery in the microwave and in a conventional oven at temperatures up to 425°F. We recommend you heat your stoneware up to temperature with the oven. Make sure to always cover the entire bottom of the dish when baking. For example, you don't want to put a single chicken breast in the center of a baker and leave the rest of the surface area uncovered, as the empty spots will heat at a different rate than those with food on them. Polish pottery does not like quick changes in temperature or uneven heat sources, and thermal shock WILL result in a broken dish.

Never place your pottery directly on a hot stovetop burner!

While Polish pottery is extremely durable, it should not be taken directly from the freezer and placed into a hot oven. In addition, cold water or frozen food should not be placed in a hot piece of pottery. Always allow cooling or warming to room temperatures before heating in an oven or placing in a freezer. If taken care of properly, your Polish pottery can last for generations!
