Description
Introducing the charming 6" Polish Pottery Bowl from Manufaktura, showcased in the delightful "Woven Reds" pattern (P181). A perfect fusion of function and art, this bowl is not just a container, but a canvas that brings the vibrant tradition of Polish pottery right to your table. Ideal for everything from morning cereals to late-night ice cream indulgences, salads to hearty soups, its versatile nature makes it a beloved favorite. Every scoop from this bowl brings with it a story of craftsmanship and heritage, making every meal a little more special.
The "Woven Reds" pattern is a traditional dance of colors and shapes, featuring a symphony of large, simple red flowers encircled by tiny teal and green leaves, all set against a crisp white background. This pattern breathes life into the fabric of the pottery, with green and white elements intricately weaving through the center like threads on a loom. Crafted using the age-old "punching" technique, skilled artisans hand-stamp each design with a touch that combines creativity with nature. Since this design is embraced by a diverse group of artists, each bowl carries its own unique flair, making yours distinctively yours.
Made in the heart of Boleslawiec, Poland, by the award-winning Manufaktura, established in 1992, each of these bowls is a testament to quality and durability. Manufaktura's pieces not only set trends but also strive to preserve the rich history of Polish pottery. Safe for use in the dishwasher, microwave, freezer, and oven (up to 425 degrees), these bowls are as practical as they are picturesque. Free from lead, nickel, and cadmium, and tough enough to resist chipping, the Polish Pottery Bowl promises both safety and longevity. Whether used daily or displayed as part of a collection, it brings a splash of color and a touch of worldly tradition to your culinary space.

Cleaning
Polish Pottery is Dishwasher safe! Or, clean by hand using regular dish soap and scrub brush.
Guidelines to keep your pottery in excellent condition:
You may safely use Polish pottery in the microwave and in a conventional oven at temperatures up to 425°F. We recommend you heat your stoneware up to temperature with the oven. Make sure to always cover the entire bottom of the dish when baking. For example, you don't want to put a single chicken breast in the center of a baker and leave the rest of the surface area uncovered, as the empty spots will heat at a different rate than those with food on them. Polish pottery does not like quick changes in temperature or uneven heat sources, and thermal shock WILL result in a broken dish.
Never place your pottery directly on a hot stovetop burner!
While Polish pottery is extremely durable, it should not be taken directly from the freezer and placed into a hot oven. In addition, cold water or frozen food should not be placed in a hot piece of pottery. Always allow cooling or warming to room temperatures before heating in an oven or placing in a freezer. If taken care of properly, your Polish pottery can last for generations!
