Description

Imagine uncorking your favorite bottle of wine, and atop it sits a dazzling Polish Pottery Wine Cork, shaped like an egg and painted in the mesmerizing "Peacock" pattern. This enchanting design from Manufaktura showcases a vivid dance of colors - predominantly blues with playful accents of green, white, and brown. The pattern features a grand ensemble of peacock circles centered on a lush blue background, with large teal green petals stretching towards the edges on a pristine white canvas. This piece isn't just a cork; it's a miniature masterpiece, a traditional token of Polish artistry that brings not just a seal, but a story to your wine collection.

Each of these exquisite wine corks is a product of meticulous craftsmanship, hand-painted in the historic town of Boleslawiec, Poland. Skilled artisans employ the "punching" technique of hand stamping, a method that breathes life into the simpler, yet profoundly beautiful traditional patterns of Polish pottery. Despite being considered "simpler," these patterns are the canvas on which artists paint limitless expressions, ensuring that no two corks are exactly alike. Standing at 2.75 inches tall, this cork brings not just functionality but a splash of color and culture to your home. It's crafted from materials that are as durable as they are safe, free from lead, nickel, and cadmium, making it a perfect blend of beauty and reliability.

Manufaktura, the creators of this delightful wine cork, have been pioneers in the Polish pottery market since their establishment in 1992. Recognized globally for their innovative designs and high-quality products, they have set trends and raised standards in the pottery world. As the first manufacturer chosen by The Polish Pottery Outlet back in 2006, Manufaktura has continued to impress and inspire with their art, winning awards and hearts alike. By choosing this Polish Pottery Wine Cork, you're not just choosing a product; you're owning a piece of art history, crafted by trendsetters and enjoyed by connoisseurs worldwide.

Care information

Cleaning

Polish Pottery is Dishwasher safe! Or, clean by hand using regular dish soap and scrub brush.

Guidelines to keep your pottery in excellent condition:

You may safely use Polish pottery in the microwave and in a conventional oven at temperatures up to 425°F. We recommend you heat your stoneware up to temperature with the oven. Make sure to always cover the entire bottom of the dish when baking. For example, you don't want to put a single chicken breast in the center of a baker and leave the rest of the surface area uncovered, as the empty spots will heat at a different rate than those with food on them. Polish pottery does not like quick changes in temperature or uneven heat sources, and thermal shock WILL result in a broken dish.

Never place your pottery directly on a hot stovetop burner!

While Polish pottery is extremely durable, it should not be taken directly from the freezer and placed into a hot oven. In addition, cold water or frozen food should not be placed in a hot piece of pottery. Always allow cooling or warming to room temperatures before heating in an oven or placing in a freezer. If taken care of properly, your Polish pottery can last for generations!
