Standing at an impressive 11.5 inches tall and measuring 8.5 inches wide, its barrel shape offers ample space for all your storage needs. The "Poppy Garden" pattern is a true masterpiece, showcasing a delightful mix of predominantly red flowers with accents in blue, white, and green. In the center, you'll find simple white flowers against a captivating blue background. Surrounding the center, a band of large poppies with vibrant green stems stands out against a crisp white backdrop.
Known for its traditional level of artistry, the "Poppy Garden" pattern is one of the most common and recognizable designs in the world of Polish pottery. Skilled artists use the unique "punching" technique of hand stamping to create an array of designs and colors, drawing inspiration from the beauty of nature. While considered "simpler" patterns, the demand for these timeless designs knows no bounds. This results in a vast pool of talented artists who work tirelessly to satisfy the ever-growing demand.
Each piece of Polish Pottery is made and hand-painted in Boleslawiec, Poland by these skilled artisans. Not only is it functional, but it also adds a splash of color and elegance to any home. Mix and match different patterns to create stunning combinations that will leave your guests in awe. What's more, Polish Pottery is not only a feast for the eyes, but it is also food and beverage safe. You can confidently use it in your dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, freezer, and even your oven (up to 425 degrees).
This particular product was lovingly manufactured by Manufaktura, the first pottery manufacturer that The Polish Pottery Outlet chose to partner with when they opened their doors in 2006. With a rich history dating back to 1992, Manufaktura has garnered numerous awards for their stunning designs and their unwavering commitment to promoting Polish pottery worldwide. Regarded as trendsetters in the pottery industry, they are widely recognized as one of the most important producers of Polish pottery in Boleslawiec.

Guidelines to keep your pottery in excellent condition:
You may safely use Polish pottery in the microwave and in a conventional oven at temperatures up to 425°F. We recommend you heat your stoneware up to temperature with the oven. Make sure to always cover the entire bottom of the dish when baking. For example, you don't want to put a single chicken breast in the center of a baker and leave the rest of the surface area uncovered, as the empty spots will heat at a different rate than those with food on them. Polish pottery does not like quick changes in temperature or uneven heat sources, and thermal shock WILL result in a broken dish.
Never place your pottery directly on a hot stovetop burner!
While Polish pottery is extremely durable, it should not be taken directly from the freezer and placed into a hot oven. In addition, cold water or frozen food should not be placed in a hot piece of pottery. Always allow cooling or warming to room temperatures before heating in an oven or placing in a freezer. If taken care of properly, your Polish pottery can last for generations!
