Description

Imagine a burst of cobalt blue dotted with whimsical white polka dots dancing around a uniquely shaped vase, ready to cradle your favorite bouquet of flowers. The Polish Pottery Vase, Garden, 5.5", crafted by the esteemed artisans at W.R. Ceramika, stands a charming 5.5" tall and reaches 7.5" at its widest, promising a bold statement piece for any nook or centerpiece. The "Dot to Dot" pattern isn’t just any design; it's a playful yet traditional canvas that transforms ordinary into extraordinary, ensuring that the vase often rivals the beauty of the blooms it holds.

This delightful piece hails from the historic town of Boleslawiec, Poland, where pottery is not just crafted but passionately created with techniques passed down through generations. Each vase is meticulously hand-painted and stamped using the traditional "punching" method, a testament to the skill and creativity of Polish artisans. The result? A durable, chip-resistant masterpiece that's free from Lead, Nickel, and Cadmium, safe and stunning in equal measure. As these patterns are crafted by a large pool of artists, each vase carries slight variations, making your piece uniquely yours, a treasure in the vast sea of mass-produced items.

W.R. Ceramika, established in 1978 by the visionary J.K. Rutyna, is known for its small-scale production and infrequent distribution, adding an exclusive charm to every piece that leaves the kiln. Whether you're an avid collector of Polish pottery or seeking that perfect conversation starter for your home, this vase is more than just a container for flowers. It’s a piece of art, offering a splash of color and a story of tradition and craftsmanship. Mix and match with other pieces from the collection to create an eclectic and vibrant ensemble that promises to dazzle and delight all who catch a glimpse.

Care information

Cleaning

Polish Pottery is Dishwasher safe! Or, clean by hand using regular dish soap and scrub brush.

Guidelines to keep your pottery in excellent condition:

You may safely use Polish pottery in the microwave and in a conventional oven at temperatures up to 425°F. We recommend you heat your stoneware up to temperature with the oven. Make sure to always cover the entire bottom of the dish when baking. For example, you don't want to put a single chicken breast in the center of a baker and leave the rest of the surface area uncovered, as the empty spots will heat at a different rate than those with food on them. Polish pottery does not like quick changes in temperature or uneven heat sources, and thermal shock WILL result in a broken dish.

Never place your pottery directly on a hot stovetop burner!

While Polish pottery is extremely durable, it should not be taken directly from the freezer and placed into a hot oven. In addition, cold water or frozen food should not be placed in a hot piece of pottery. Always allow cooling or warming to room temperatures before heating in an oven or placing in a freezer. If taken care of properly, your Polish pottery can last for generations!
