About this product

Introducing the stunning Polish Pottery 9" Bowl by Manufaktura in the delightful "Butterfly Garden" pattern (MOT1). This versatile bowl is not only perfect for serving salads, pastas, or stews, but it also doubles as a fabulous mixing bowl! The "Butterfly Garden" pattern is truly enchanting, with its design elements featuring delicate butterflies and vibrant flowers against a predominantly white background, adorned with accents in a beautiful shade of blue.

As you gaze upon this pattern, you'll notice a band of exquisite white flowers outlined in blue that stretches through the center from two adjacent corners. But that's not all – a few magnificent butterflies gracefully flutter across the remaining 3/4 of the pattern, adding an extra touch of whimsy and charm. This pattern is considered to be of the Traditional level of artistry, which happens to be one of the most common and recognizable patterns in the world of Polish pottery.

When it comes to Traditional patterns, highly skilled artists employ the "punching" technique of hand stamping to create an array of designs and colors that are largely inspired by the beauty of nature. These patterns are often referred to as "simpler" patterns, but don't let that fool you – there is no limit to their production, and the largest pool of artists combine their talents to meet the demand. Due to the diverse range of artists involved, each piece showcases its own unique variations, making it truly one-of-a-kind.

With dimensions of 9" in diameter and 3.75" in height, this bowl has a generous capacity of 64 oz. (equivalent to 8 cups). Crafted and hand-painted in Boleslawiec, Poland by skilled artisans, this Polish Pottery creation is not only functional, but also exquisitely beautiful. Imagine the joy of mixing and matching different pieces to create stunning combinations that will undoubtedly impress your guests. Polish Pottery is known for its ability to add vibrant splashes of color to any home, making it both practical and visually pleasing.

Rest assured, this Polish Pottery 9" Bowl is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also safe to use with food and beverages. It can be effortlessly cleaned in the dishwasher, and is compatible with your refrigerator, microwave, freezer, and even your oven (up to 425 degrees). Made from high-quality materials, this bowl is tough, durable, and chip resistant. Plus, it's completely free of lead, nickel, and cadmium, ensuring your safety and peace of mind.

Manufactured by the esteemed company Manufaktura, this particular piece is a testament to their commitment to excellence. Established in 1992, Manufaktura has since received numerous awards for their outstanding contributions to the world of Polish pottery. Care information

Cleaning

Polish Pottery is Dishwasher safe! Or, clean by hand using regular dish soap and scrub brush.

Guidelines to keep your pottery in excellent condition:

You may safely use Polish pottery in the microwave and in a conventional oven at temperatures up to 425°F. We recommend you heat your stoneware up to temperature with the oven. Make sure to always cover the entire bottom of the dish when baking. For example, you don't want to put a single chicken breast in the center of a baker and leave the rest of the surface area uncovered, as the empty spots will heat at a different rate than those with food on them. Polish pottery does not like quick changes in temperature or uneven heat sources, and thermal shock WILL result in a broken dish.

Never place your pottery directly on a hot stovetop burner!

While Polish pottery is extremely durable, it should not be taken directly from the freezer and placed into a hot oven. In addition, cold water or frozen food should not be placed in a hot piece of pottery. Always allow cooling or warming to room temperatures before heating in an oven or placing in a freezer. If taken care of properly, your Polish pottery can last for generations!
