                  Description
Imagine cradling a masterpiece in your hands as the aroma of your morning coffee wafts up to greet you. That's the promise of the Polish Pottery Belly Mug, a charming 8 oz creation by the artisans at W.R. Ceramika. Each mug is a canvas painted with the playful "Dot to Dot" pattern, featuring whimsical white polka dots that dance across a vibrant cobalt blue backdrop. This traditional design, crafted through the age-old "punching" technique, showcases the timeless artistry that Polish pottery is celebrated for. The result? A delightful start to your day, steeped in both flavor and heritage.
Not just a treat for the taste buds, this small yet sturdy mug is meticulously handcrafted in the quaint town of Boleslawiec, Poland. The skilled local artisans ensure that no two mugs are exactly alike, with slight variations that make each piece uniquely yours. But it's not all about looks; this pottery is built to last. Whether it's surviving the hustle of the dishwasher, the chill of the refrigerator, or the heat of the microwave and oven (up to 425 degrees!), this mug handles it all with aplomb. And rest assured, it’s as safe as it is stunning—free from Lead, Nickel, and Cadmium.
Adding this Polish pottery mug to your collection is more than just acquiring a drinking vessel—it's about embracing a piece of art that holds a story. W.R. Ceramika, a boutique firm founded in 1978 by the visionary J.K. Rutyna, emphasizes unique designs that are seldom repeated and hard to come by. This makes each mug not just a functional item for daily use but also a collectible treasure that brightens your kitchen and impresses your guests. So why settle for ordinary when you can sip from a work of art that celebrates the beauty of handmade craftsmanship?

Cleaning
Polish Pottery is Dishwasher safe! Or, clean by hand using regular dish soap and scrub brush.
Guidelines to keep your pottery in excellent condition:
You may safely use Polish pottery in the microwave and in a conventional oven at temperatures up to 425°F. We recommend you heat your stoneware up to temperature with the oven. Make sure to always cover the entire bottom of the dish when baking. For example, you don't want to put a single chicken breast in the center of a baker and leave the rest of the surface area uncovered, as the empty spots will heat at a different rate than those with food on them. Polish pottery does not like quick changes in temperature or uneven heat sources, and thermal shock WILL result in a broken dish.
Never place your pottery directly on a hot stovetop burner!
While Polish pottery is extremely durable, it should not be taken directly from the freezer and placed into a hot oven. In addition, cold water or frozen food should not be placed in a hot piece of pottery. Always allow cooling or warming to room temperatures before heating in an oven or placing in a freezer. If taken care of properly, your Polish pottery can last for generations!
