Imagine serving your favorite casseroles, entrees, or sides in this stunning oval baker. The "Peacock Plume" pattern is a work of art, with its intricate design elements incorporating the majestic peacock and delicate feathers. The predominantly white color with accents in green, light blue, and orange adds a pop of vibrant colors to your table. You'll be captivated by the single orange and green peacock plume in the center, surrounded by tiny teal dots scattered sparsely. And let's not forget about the exquisite blue and green peacock feathers lining the edges; they add a touch of elegance and sophistication to this already extraordinary piece.
What makes this pattern even more special is its Unikat level of artistry. Unikat patterns are the epitome of uniqueness and craftsmanship. As artists hone their skills, they are encouraged to work on Unikat designs, which display more detail and incorporate a greater number of colors and elements. You can easily spot an Unikat pattern by the "UNIKAT" stamp on the bottom, which serves as a sort of copyright symbol, indicating that the pattern belongs to Ceramika Artystyczna. These patterns are painted by a select group of highly skilled artists, making them a bit more expensive than Traditional patterns but worth every penny for the level of artistry they embody.
Not only is this oval baker a work of art, but it is also highly functional. With dimensions of 13.75" x 9.25" (rim to rim) and 2.5" deep, it provides ample space for your culinary creations. The interior measures 12.5" x 8.5", ensuring that your casseroles, entrees, or sides fit perfectly. Cleaning
Polish Pottery is Dishwasher safe! Or, clean by hand using regular dish soap and scrub brush.
Guidelines to keep your pottery in excellent condition:
You may safely use Polish pottery in the microwave and in a conventional oven at temperatures up to 425°F. We recommend you heat your stoneware up to temperature with the oven. Make sure to always cover the entire bottom of the dish when baking. For example, you don't want to put a single chicken breast in the center of a baker and leave the rest of the surface area uncovered, as the empty spots will heat at a different rate than those with food on them. Polish pottery does not like quick changes in temperature or uneven heat sources, and thermal shock WILL result in a broken dish.
Never place your pottery directly on a hot stovetop burner!
While Polish pottery is extremely durable, it should not be taken directly from the freezer and placed into a hot oven. In addition, cold water or frozen food should not be placed in a hot piece of pottery. Always allow cooling or warming to room temperatures before heating in an oven or placing in a freezer. If taken care of properly, your Polish pottery can last for generations!
