Behind the Clay with Anna Szeremeta

"Ceramics is timeless: it easily combines with modern trends, and popularizes traditional patterns. Hand-made ceramics has an emotional added value. It has signatures of its creators, visible in the forms or the manner of painting. I am inspired by floral motives, however sometimes I am overwhelmed by my element - the air. When it happens, I make compositions acting on an impulse, using the stamps I find first. My favourite dye for ceramics is the cobalt one. It is a colour which makes it possible to obtain unusual shades, it works great in atypical combinations, and it is a “signature colour” of the ceramics from Bolesławiec. "
