I am sure everyone will enjoy this tangy hot beverage on a cool day. My mom used to make this for us when we were little and Tang was a new product! I remember hearing that the astronauts took it on their trips to the moon. Now I enjoy it out of a beautiful Polish Pottery mug from The Polish Pottery Outlet. I can heat the water in the microwave and the handle does not get hot, but the liquid does! When I make large amounts for family and friends I use one of my teapots for a beautiful presentation and easy refills.
Spiced Tea
2 cups Tang (dry mix)
1 cup Instant Tea
1 cup Sugar or the equivalent amount of sweetener
1/2 cup lemon aid mix
1 teaspoon ground cloves
1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Mix up and store in an airtight container. Mix 2 to 3 teaspoons with a cup of hot water. Relax and enjoy!
We offer a wide variety of mugs in traditional, unikat, and signature patterns. Belly mugs come in three sizes, Latte cups offer a wide mouth, pluton mugs and John’s mugs are more slender, and the new “Mars” mug is also very popular because of its easy to hold shape. If you are really thirsty (or don’t want to be bothered to get up and refill), you could use one of our beer steins or beer mugs or tankards for your beverage. All of these items are dishwasher, oven, freezer, and microwave safe.
We would love to have you come in and see our selection in person at The Polish Pottery Outlet in the Denver Metro Area. If you are unable to make it in, check out our website at www.thepolishpotteryoutlet.com.
