Description

Imagine a dinner plate that does more than just serve food; it serves up a piece of art right at your table! Introducing the stunning 10.75" Polish Pottery Plate from Zaklady, crafted in the captivating "Orange Wreath" pattern. This isn't just any ordinary plate. It features a mesmerizing design with a symphony of colors - brown, orange, green, and white - dancing in harmony. The central white canvas is sprinkled with tiny brown dots, surrounded by a vibrant ring of flowers and leaves, creating a visual feast that's as delightful as the dishes you'll serve on it.

But the beauty of this plate isn't just skin deep. Each piece is a canvas showcasing the exceptional Unikat level of artistry, which translates to "Unique" from Polish. Unikat pieces are the crème de la crème of Polish pottery, painted by a select group of highly skilled artisans who bring these intricate designs to life. Recognized by the exclusive "UNIKAT" stamp on the bottom, these plates are a testament to a rich tradition of craftsmanship, demanding more detail, more colors, and, inevitably, more admiration. So, not only do you get a plate, but a piece of art steeped in artistic heritage and exclusivity.

Made in the heart of Boleslawiec, Poland, by Zaklady Ceramiczne - the oldest and largest Polish pottery manufacturer that still retains its government ties - each plate carries with it a story of resilience and tradition. Post World War II, the Zaklady factory was rebuilt from the ruins to continue the age-old craftsmanship that dates back to the 1800s. Not only is this plate a durable piece, safe for use in the dishwasher, microwave, oven (up to 425 degrees), and freezer, but it's also free of any harmful substances like lead, nickel, or cadmium. So, whether you're hosting a grand dinner party or enjoying a quiet meal at home, this Polish pottery plate adds a touch of elegance and history, ensuring every meal is served with a story.

Care information

Cleaning

Polish Pottery is Dishwasher safe! Or, clean by hand using regular dish soap and scrub brush.

Guidelines to keep your pottery in excellent condition:

You may safely use Polish pottery in the microwave and in a conventional oven at temperatures up to 425°F. We recommend you heat your stoneware up to temperature with the oven. Make sure to always cover the entire bottom of the dish when baking. For example, you don't want to put a single chicken breast in the center of a baker and leave the rest of the surface area uncovered, as the empty spots will heat at a different rate than those with food on them. Polish pottery does not like quick changes in temperature or uneven heat sources, and thermal shock WILL result in a broken dish.

Never place your pottery directly on a hot stovetop burner!

While Polish pottery is extremely durable, it should not be taken directly from the freezer and placed into a hot oven. In addition, cold water or frozen food should not be placed in a hot piece of pottery. Always allow cooling or warming to room temperatures before heating in an oven or placing in a freezer. If taken care of properly, your Polish pottery can last for generations!
