I stopped using the microwave so I need oven-to-table proof stoneware. These are really nice, but I really thought that these were about same diameter as my existing dessert/bread plates that I use on a regular basis. It's difficult to get an accurate measurement on them. These are pretty tiny and cost so much.

We switched to all Polish pottery plates. They hold up really well, they get banged and go in/out of the dishwasher every day and still look new with no glazing cracks or chipped edges. Colors are lovely and cheery.
