Description
Imagine a canvas of vibrant yellows, soothing blues, and energizing reds brought to life on a plate—this is the "Sunlit Wildflowers" pattern by Manufaktura. Each 8.5" Polish Pottery Salad Plate is not just a dish but a portal to a meadow under a spring sun. Perfect for dressing up your salads, this plate also eagerly awaits the chance to cradle your favorite sandwiches, cookies, and delectable desserts. Every meal becomes a small celebration of art and craftsmanship, making each bite a little more special.
At the heart of the "Sunlit Wildflowers" design is a tale of artistry and mastery. This pattern is crafted by artists who have reached the pinnacle of their craft, earning the honor to design Signature pieces from scratch. Each plate carries the "UNIKAT" stamp—Polish for "unique"—alongside the artist's personal signature, transforming these dishes into exclusive collectibles. The intricate dance of tiny teal green vines and blossoms against a white and yellow backdrop speaks volumes of the meticulous attention to detail, making these plates true masterpieces in both form and function.
Not only are these plates a visual treat, they are crafted to stand the test of time. Made in the historic town of Boleslawiec, Poland, each piece is hand-painted by skilled artisans using high-quality materials that are tough, durable, and chip-resistant. Fully equipped to handle the rigors of modern life, they are safe for use in the dishwasher, microwave, freezer, and oven (up to 425 degrees). Manufaktura, the pioneering manufacturer of Polish pottery, has been setting trends and promoting Polish artistry globally since 1992, making each plate a slice of history and a dash of global culture right in your home.

Cleaning
Polish Pottery is Dishwasher safe! Or, clean by hand using regular dish soap and scrub brush.
Guidelines to keep your pottery in excellent condition:
You may safely use Polish pottery in the microwave and in a conventional oven at temperatures up to 425°F. We recommend you heat your stoneware up to temperature with the oven. Make sure to always cover the entire bottom of the dish when baking. For example, you don't want to put a single chicken breast in the center of a baker and leave the rest of the surface area uncovered, as the empty spots will heat at a different rate than those with food on them. Polish pottery does not like quick changes in temperature or uneven heat sources, and thermal shock WILL result in a broken dish.
Never place your pottery directly on a hot stovetop burner!
While Polish pottery is extremely durable, it should not be taken directly from the freezer and placed into a hot oven. In addition, cold water or frozen food should not be placed in a hot piece of pottery. Always allow cooling or warming to room temperatures before heating in an oven or placing in a freezer. If taken care of properly, your Polish pottery can last for generations!
