Description
Imagine setting your table with a piece that whispers tales of enchanting butterflies and blossoming flowers, each brushstroke carrying the warmth and tradition of Polish artistry. The "Butyterfly Blues" pattern on this delightful 8" x 11" serving tray, handcrafted by the renowned artisan Andy, captures the essence of a serene floral meadow under a cerulean sky. It’s not just a tray; it’s a portal to a quaint, cobblestone village in Bolesławiec, Poland, where each piece of pottery is as unique as the skilled hands that painted it.
This exquisite tray, adorned with vibrant blue butterflies fluttering amidst white blooms, belongs to the Traditional category of Polish pottery. Such designs are celebrated for their timeless appeal and widespread recognition. Crafted using the ancient "punching" technique, this tray is a testament to the enduring legacy of Polish craftsmen who meticulously hand-stamp each design, inspired by the natural beauty that surrounds them. Although termed "simpler", these patterns are infinitely charming and offer a canvas where no two pieces are exactly alike—thanks to the individual flair of each artist.
Not only is this tray a piece of art, but it’s also marvelously versatile and durable. Safe for use in the dishwasher, microwave, freezer, and even the oven up to 425 degrees, it promises to be your go-to server for everything from casual breakfasts to elegant dinner parties. The high-quality materials ensure it is tough, chip-resistant, and devoid of any harmful elements like Lead, Nickel, or Cadmium. Whether you're serving appetizers, desserts, or heartwarming meals, this Polish Pottery tray from Andy's small, family-owned factory will add a splash of color and a touch of history to your culinary presentations.

Cleaning
Polish Pottery is Dishwasher safe! Or, clean by hand using regular dish soap and scrub brush.
Guidelines to keep your pottery in excellent condition:
You may safely use Polish pottery in the microwave and in a conventional oven at temperatures up to 425°F. We recommend you heat your stoneware up to temperature with the oven. Make sure to always cover the entire bottom of the dish when baking. For example, you don't want to put a single chicken breast in the center of a baker and leave the rest of the surface area uncovered, as the empty spots will heat at a different rate than those with food on them. Polish pottery does not like quick changes in temperature or uneven heat sources, and thermal shock WILL result in a broken dish.
Never place your pottery directly on a hot stovetop burner!
While Polish pottery is extremely durable, it should not be taken directly from the freezer and placed into a hot oven. In addition, cold water or frozen food should not be placed in a hot piece of pottery. Always allow cooling or warming to room temperatures before heating in an oven or placing in a freezer. If taken care of properly, your Polish pottery can last for generations!
