Meet the enchanting Polish Pottery Bank in the shape of a delightful Beetle, measuring 8.6" x 4.5", crafted by the renowned Galia in the eye-catching "Draping Red Florals" pattern. This charming money keeper is not just a bank; it's a mini treasure trove that adds whimsy and color to your space! Imagine this: vibrant red flowers and lush green leaves gracefully entwined, each petal and leaf brought to life with meticulous detail, wrapped in a solid blue rim. This beetle isn’t just for saving pennies; it’s a piece of art that promises to brighten any nook of your home.
Originating from the historic town of Boleslawiec, Poland, each of these beetle banks is hand-painted by skilled artisans using the traditional "punching" technique. This method involves hand-stamping to create vivid, nature-inspired designs, making each beetle uniquely yours. Although part of the Traditional patterns—known for their beauty and recognizability worldwide—each piece varies slightly, reflecting the individual style of the artist who crafted it. These patterns are not just designs; they are stories told through colors and shapes, inspired by the lush landscapes and rich history of Poland.
Not only are these Polish pottery pieces stunning, but they are also built to last. Made with high-quality materials, they are tough, durable, and chip-resistant, ensuring that your colorful companion will remain by your side for years to come. Free from lead, nickel, and cadium, they are as safe as they are stylish. The Galia family, stewards of Ceramika Galia, have been producing these beautiful stonewares for generations, using natural raw materials sourced from around Boleslawiec. Their commitment to quality and tradition makes each piece a testament to both heritage and craftsmanship. Add a splash of color and charm to your home with these adorable, functional artworks, and let your guests marvel at your exquisite taste!

Cleaning
Polish Pottery is Dishwasher safe! Or, clean by hand using regular dish soap and scrub brush.
Guidelines to keep your pottery in excellent condition:
You may safely use Polish pottery in the microwave and in a conventional oven at temperatures up to 425°F. We recommend you heat your stoneware up to temperature with the oven. Make sure to always cover the entire bottom of the dish when baking. For example, you don't want to put a single chicken breast in the center of a baker and leave the rest of the surface area uncovered, as the empty spots will heat at a different rate than those with food on them. Polish pottery does not like quick changes in temperature or uneven heat sources, and thermal shock WILL result in a broken dish.
Never place your pottery directly on a hot stovetop burner!
While Polish pottery is extremely durable, it should not be taken directly from the freezer and placed into a hot oven. In addition, cold water or frozen food should not be placed in a hot piece of pottery. Always allow cooling or warming to room temperatures before heating in an oven or placing in a freezer. If taken care of properly, your Polish pottery can last for generations!
