Description
Imagine a dinner table that whispers tales of Eastern European charm and handcrafted artistry, where each piece of crockery tells a story of tradition and modern flair. This is what you bring home with the Polish Pottery Plate from Andy, featuring the mesmerizing "Blue Daisy Spiral" pattern. This 10.25-inch round dinner plate swirls with light blue flowers encircling dark blue spirals, a traditional Polish pottery design known for its simplicity and beauty. Crafted in Boleslawiec, Poland, this plate is not just a dish but a canvas painted by skilled artisans using the unique "punching" technique of hand stamping.
Not only is this plate a visual delight, but it's also built to withstand the rigors of daily use without losing its charm. Safe for the dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, and even the oven (up to 425 degrees), it's as practical as it is beautiful. Made without lead, nickel, or cadmium, you can rest assured that it's safe for serving your favorite culinary creations. Whether you're hosting a formal dinner party or enjoying a casual meal, this plate adds a splash of color and a dash of Polish heritage to your dining experience.
What's more exciting is the opportunity to create your own unique table setting by mixing and matching this plate with other stunning pieces from Andy's collection. Each plate offers a slightly different expression of the "Blue Daisy Spiral" pattern, thanks to the varied interpretations by different artists within the community. This variability adds an exclusive touch to your collection, ensuring that no two settings are exactly alike. Collecting these plates becomes more than just decorating your table; it's about curating a gallery of artisanal art that's sure to impress your guests and spark conversations around the dinner table.

Cleaning
Polish Pottery is Dishwasher safe! Or, clean by hand using regular dish soap and scrub brush.
Guidelines to keep your pottery in excellent condition:
You may safely use Polish pottery in the microwave and in a conventional oven at temperatures up to 425°F. We recommend you heat your stoneware up to temperature with the oven. Make sure to always cover the entire bottom of the dish when baking. For example, you don't want to put a single chicken breast in the center of a baker and leave the rest of the surface area uncovered, as the empty spots will heat at a different rate than those with food on them. Polish pottery does not like quick changes in temperature or uneven heat sources, and thermal shock WILL result in a broken dish.
Never place your pottery directly on a hot stovetop burner!
While Polish pottery is extremely durable, it should not be taken directly from the freezer and placed into a hot oven. In addition, cold water or frozen food should not be placed in a hot piece of pottery. Always allow cooling or warming to room temperatures before heating in an oven or placing in a freezer. If taken care of properly, your Polish pottery can last for generations!
