Get ready to turn heads with these Boleslawiec table settings that are small, beautiful, and heirloom quality. This dessert plate is perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth, so don't fill up on the main course!
The "Floral Revival Blue" pattern is a visual delight, featuring a mesmerizing combination of predominantly blue flowers with accents in green and yellow, all against a pristine white background. But what sets this pattern apart is the tiny teal green leaves attached to the delicate blue and yellow flowers, creating a whimsical and charming design. This pattern is considered to be Unikat level of artistry, taking the craftsmanship to the next level.
Unikat patterns, meaning "Unique" in Polish, are the pinnacle of artistry in Polish Pottery. As artists' skills progress, they are encouraged to work on Unikat designs, which boast intricate details and incorporate a greater number of colors and elements. You can easily identify Unikat patterns by the "UNIKAT" stamp on the bottom, serving as a sort of copyright symbol, indicating that the pattern belongs to that specific manufacturer.
But here's the catch: since Unikat patterns require more work and attention to detail, they are painted by a smaller pool of exceptionally talented artists, making them a bit more expensive than Traditional patterns. However, the result is truly a work of art that will elevate your dining experience.
This 7.25" dessert plate, made and hand-painted in Boleslawiec, Poland by skilled artisans, is not only a feast for the eyes but also a functional piece. Cleaning
Polish Pottery is Dishwasher safe! Or, clean by hand using regular dish soap and scrub brush.
Guidelines to keep your pottery in excellent condition:
You may safely use Polish pottery in the microwave and in a conventional oven at temperatures up to 425°F. We recommend you heat your stoneware up to temperature with the oven. Make sure to always cover the entire bottom of the dish when baking. For example, you don't want to put a single chicken breast in the center of a baker and leave the rest of the surface area uncovered, as the empty spots will heat at a different rate than those with food on them. Polish pottery does not like quick changes in temperature or uneven heat sources, and thermal shock WILL result in a broken dish.
Never place your pottery directly on a hot stovetop burner!
While Polish pottery is extremely durable, it should not be taken directly from the freezer and placed into a hot oven. In addition, cold water or frozen food should not be placed in a hot piece of pottery. Always allow cooling or warming to room temperatures before heating in an oven or placing in a freezer. If taken care of properly, your Polish pottery can last for generations!
