Description
Imagine a quaint dessert plate that brings not just your favorite treats but also a touch of whimsical winter magic right to your table! The Polish Pottery Plate from Manufaktura, measuring a charming 6.5 inches, is your perfect canvas for those delightful slices of cake, appetizers, or even a colorful side salad. Crafted in the heart of Boleslawiec, Poland, this plate is adorned with the enchanting "Snowy Pines" pattern. Picture this: a serene blue backdrop sprinkled with delicate white dots, encircled by a festive band of teal Christmas trees set against a crisp white ground, and bordered by playful bands of tiny blue snowflakes that seem to dance in the winter sky. It’s a traditional design that’s sure to spark conversations and compliments at any gathering!
This lovely plate is not just a feast for the eyes; it’s a testament to the rich heritage and skilled craftsmanship of Polish pottery. Using the age-old "punching" technique, highly skilled artisans hand-stamp each design, making every piece a unique work of art. Although the "Snowy Pines" pattern falls under the Traditional category—known for its wide recognition and production—each plate can show slight variations, adding to its charm and collectibility. The largest pool of artists in the region contributes to these designs, ensuring that each piece holds a story waiting to be shared. Not only is this plate a delightful addition to your home decor, but it also promises durability and safety, being microwave, dishwasher, and oven safe (up to 425 degrees).
Beyond its beauty and practicality, the Manufaktura Dessert Plate holds a special place in the world of Polish pottery. Since its establishment in 1992, Manufaktura has not only set trends but also garnered international acclaim for its exquisite designs and dedication to promoting Polish pottery globally. As a pioneer in the industry, Manufaktura was the first choice for The Polish Pottery Outlet when it opened its doors in 2006, highlighting the brand’s significant role in the pottery market. When you choose this plate, you’re not just selecting a dish; you’re embracing a piece of art that carries the legacy and artistic expression of one of Boleslawiec’s most influential pottery producers. So, why not add this captivating Polish Pottery Plate to your collection and let your dining experience tell a story of art, tradition, and international craftsmanship?

Cleaning
Polish Pottery is Dishwasher safe! Or, clean by hand using regular dish soap and scrub brush.
Guidelines to keep your pottery in excellent condition:
You may safely use Polish pottery in the microwave and in a conventional oven at temperatures up to 425°F. We recommend you heat your stoneware up to temperature with the oven. Make sure to always cover the entire bottom of the dish when baking. For example, you don't want to put a single chicken breast in the center of a baker and leave the rest of the surface area uncovered, as the empty spots will heat at a different rate than those with food on them. Polish pottery does not like quick changes in temperature or uneven heat sources, and thermal shock WILL result in a broken dish.
Never place your pottery directly on a hot stovetop burner!
While Polish pottery is extremely durable, it should not be taken directly from the freezer and placed into a hot oven. In addition, cold water or frozen food should not be placed in a hot piece of pottery. Always allow cooling or warming to room temperatures before heating in an oven or placing in a freezer. If taken care of properly, your Polish pottery can last for generations!
