Description

Imagine the magic of the holidays captured in a delicate 2.5" Santa ornament, crafted by the skilled artisans of Manufaktura in the charming town of Boleslawiec, Poland. This isn't just any Christmas decoration; it's a piece of art, hand-painted in the vibrant "Lily of the Valley" pattern. Picture a snowy white backdrop, adorned with playful blue and green blossoms that seem to dance around the center, bordered by whimsical light blue bellflowers on a lush green vine. This traditional pattern, steeped in history, is a testament to the timeless artistry that Polish pottery is renowned for.

The creation of each ornament is a meticulous process, utilizing the ancient "punching" technique where highly skilled artists hand stamp each design. Inspired by the natural beauty of their surroundings, these artists breathe life into clay, transforming it into a festive treasure. Each ornament is slightly unique, a result of the personal touch of the individual artist, making it not just a decoration but a collectible. Durable yet beautiful, these ornaments are crafted to withstand the test of time, free from Lead, Nickel, and Cadmium, ensuring they are as safe as they are stunning.

Since its establishment in 1992, Manufaktura has not only set trends but also set the standard in Polish pottery. As the first choice for The Polish Pottery Outlet back in 2006, Manufaktura has continued to captivate and charm with their award-winning designs and commitment to promoting Polish pottery on a global scale. Each piece from their workshop is not just pottery; it's a piece of Polish heritage, meant to add a splash of color and a story of artisan craftsmanship to your festive celebrations. So this season, why not adorn your home with a piece of art that tells a story as rich and vivid as the holidays themselves?

Care information

Cleaning

Polish Pottery is Dishwasher safe! Or, clean by hand using regular dish soap and scrub brush.

Guidelines to keep your pottery in excellent condition:

You may safely use Polish pottery in the microwave and in a conventional oven at temperatures up to 425°F. We recommend you heat your stoneware up to temperature with the oven. Make sure to always cover the entire bottom of the dish when baking. For example, you don't want to put a single chicken breast in the center of a baker and leave the rest of the surface area uncovered, as the empty spots will heat at a different rate than those with food on them. Polish pottery does not like quick changes in temperature or uneven heat sources, and thermal shock WILL result in a broken dish.

Never place your pottery directly on a hot stovetop burner!

While Polish pottery is extremely durable, it should not be taken directly from the freezer and placed into a hot oven. In addition, cold water or frozen food should not be placed in a hot piece of pottery. Always allow cooling or warming to room temperatures before heating in an oven or placing in a freezer. If taken care of properly, your Polish pottery can last for generations!
