Description

Imagine setting your table with the exquisite charm of Polish pottery, where every meal turns into a picturesque scene straight out of a European countryside. At the heart of this rustic elegance is the "Modern Blue Cascade" napkin ring by W.R. Ceramika. This delightful piece, standing at a quaint 2 inches, showcases a vibrant pattern of blue flowers and cascading vines against a crisp white backdrop. The colors pop, with subtle green and white accents bringing the flora to life, ensuring that your table setting catches every eye with its traditional yet fresh appeal.

Each of these napkin rings is a canvas, painted with the utmost care by the skilled artisans of Boleslawiec, Poland. The craftsmanship involves a time-honored "punching" technique where patterns are hand-stamped with a precision that celebrates nature’s spontaneous beauty. Though these designs are dubbed 'simpler', their charm lies in their familiarity and the slight variations introduced by the different artists' interpretations. No two pieces are exactly alike, adding a unique touch to your collection. This blend of artistry and functionality not only enhances your dining experience but also invites conversations about its rich heritage and robust craftsmanship.

Not only are these Polish pottery pieces a treat for the eyes, but they are also built to last. Crafted from materials that are tough, durable, and chip-resistant, each napkin ring is free from lead, nickel, and cadmium, ensuring that they are as safe as they are stunning. The legacy of W.R. Ceramika, established in 1978 by J.K. Rutyna, emphasizes unique designs that stand out and endure. Being one of the smallest yet most distinctive manufacturers we collaborate with, W.R. Ceramika’s creations are rare gems in the world of pottery. So why not start your collection today and bring a splash of Polish elegance to your home?

Care information

Cleaning

Polish Pottery is Dishwasher safe! Or, clean by hand using regular dish soap and scrub brush.

Guidelines to keep your pottery in excellent condition:

You may safely use Polish pottery in the microwave and in a conventional oven at temperatures up to 425°F. We recommend you heat your stoneware up to temperature with the oven. Make sure to always cover the entire bottom of the dish when baking. For example, you don't want to put a single chicken breast in the center of a baker and leave the rest of the surface area uncovered, as the empty spots will heat at a different rate than those with food on them. Polish pottery does not like quick changes in temperature or uneven heat sources, and thermal shock WILL result in a broken dish.

Never place your pottery directly on a hot stovetop burner!

While Polish pottery is extremely durable, it should not be taken directly from the freezer and placed into a hot oven. In addition, cold water or frozen food should not be placed in a hot piece of pottery. Always allow cooling or warming to room temperatures before heating in an oven or placing in a freezer. If taken care of properly, your Polish pottery can last for generations!
