Description
Introducing the Polish Pottery Ladle from Manufaktura, a masterpiece that marries form with function in a dance of traditional craftsmanship and modern style. At 12 inches, this soup ladle isn't just a kitchen utensil—it's a conversation starter. Adorned with the striking "Metro" pattern, this ladle features a bold black background sprinkled with playful white dashes and dots, evoking a sense of urban chic that's both simple and sophisticated. Perfect for those who appreciate the art of cooking as much as the art on their walls, this ladle lets you serve up your soups and stews in impeccable style.
Crafted by the skilled artisans of Boleslawiec, Poland, each ladle is a testament to the tradition of Polish pottery. The "Metro" pattern is brought to life through the ancient "punching" technique of hand stamping, where artists meticulously create each design inspired by natural elements. Despite its classification as a "Traditional" pattern, the Metro ladle showcases a unique charm that varies slightly from piece to piece—thanks to the diverse interpretations of different artists. This variability ensures that no two ladles are exactly alike, making each one a unique treasure. Beyond its beauty, this ladle is built to last, with high-quality materials that are tough, durable, and resistant to chipping. It’s also completely safe for use with food and beverages, and can withstand the rigors of the dishwasher, microwave, and even the oven up to 425 degrees.
Since its establishment in 1992, Manufaktura has set the standard in the pottery world, consistently recognized for their innovative designs and their commitment to promoting Polish pottery globally. As one of the most pivotal producers in Boleslawiec, Manufaktura's creations are not just pottery; they are a piece of Polish heritage. This ladle from the Polish Pottery Outlet, where Manufaktura was the first to be featured when the outlet opened its doors in 2006, continues this tradition. Whether you're adding to your collection or starting a new one, the Polish Pottery Ladle is a functional piece of art that brings a splash of European elegance to any home. Mix and match it with other pieces to create a stunning array that will dazzle your guests and elevate every meal into a special occasion.

Cleaning
Polish Pottery is Dishwasher safe! Or, clean by hand using regular dish soap and scrub brush.
Guidelines to keep your pottery in excellent condition:
You may safely use Polish pottery in the microwave and in a conventional oven at temperatures up to 425°F. We recommend you heat your stoneware up to temperature with the oven. Make sure to always cover the entire bottom of the dish when baking. For example, you don't want to put a single chicken breast in the center of a baker and leave the rest of the surface area uncovered, as the empty spots will heat at a different rate than those with food on them. Polish pottery does not like quick changes in temperature or uneven heat sources, and thermal shock WILL result in a broken dish.
Never place your pottery directly on a hot stovetop burner!
While Polish pottery is extremely durable, it should not be taken directly from the freezer and placed into a hot oven. In addition, cold water or frozen food should not be placed in a hot piece of pottery. Always allow cooling or warming to room temperatures before heating in an oven or placing in a freezer. If taken care of properly, your Polish pottery can last for generations!
