Description

Imagine a dinner plate that not only serves your favorite meals but also serves up a slice of artistic heritage! Introducing the Polish Pottery 10" Dinner Plate from Manufaktura, adorned in the delightful "Spring's Promise" pattern. This isn't just any dinnerware; it's a canvas showcasing a vibrant ensemble of flowers and leaves, painted in an array of soothing greens with playful accents of brown, white, and blue. Each plate is a testament to traditional artistry, where nature’s simplest elements are transformed into a visual feast, promising to turn every meal into a more colorful event!

Each of these exquisite plates is crafted in the heart of Boleslawiec, Poland, by artisans who have mastered the age-old "punching" technique of hand stamping. This method breathes life into the "Spring's Promise" pattern, featuring tiny blue flowers and teal leaves that dance over a lively green backdrop speckled with white dots, encircled by a charming vine in brown, with blooms in sky blue and red. The design, although traditional, is unique to each plate due to the personal touch of the skilled craftsmen. Not only are these plates a visual delight, but they are also built to last, being microwave, dishwasher, and even oven safe (up to 425 degrees), making them perfect for both special occasions and everyday use.

But the charm of these plates isn't just in their beauty and functionality. By choosing Polish Pottery from Manufaktura, you're also embracing a piece of Poland's rich cultural heritage. Established in 1992, Manufaktura has not only set trends but also helped put Boleslawiec pottery on the global map, winning awards and accolades for their dedication to quality and design. So whether you're looking to impress your dinner guests or just treat yourself to a beautiful dining experience, these Polish Pottery plates are more than just dishes—they're keepsakes that bring a touch of spring's promise to your table every day.

Care information

Cleaning

Polish Pottery is Dishwasher safe! Or, clean by hand using regular dish soap and scrub brush.

Guidelines to keep your pottery in excellent condition:

You may safely use Polish pottery in the microwave and in a conventional oven at temperatures up to 425°F. We recommend you heat your stoneware up to temperature with the oven. Make sure to always cover the entire bottom of the dish when baking. For example, you don't want to put a single chicken breast in the center of a baker and leave the rest of the surface area uncovered, as the empty spots will heat at a different rate than those with food on them. Polish pottery does not like quick changes in temperature or uneven heat sources, and thermal shock WILL result in a broken dish.

Never place your pottery directly on a hot stovetop burner!

While Polish pottery is extremely durable, it should not be taken directly from the freezer and placed into a hot oven. In addition, cold water or frozen food should not be placed in a hot piece of pottery. Always allow cooling or warming to room temperatures before heating in an oven or placing in a freezer. If taken care of properly, your Polish pottery can last for generations!
