Introducing the Polish Pottery 10 oz. Mug by Manufaktura in the enchanting "Butterfly Garden" pattern (MOT1). This medium belly mug is not just your ordinary coffee cup; it's the perfect shape to elevate your morning routine to a whole new level of enjoyment. Imagine starting your day with a sip of your favorite brew from a mug that exudes exquisite Polish pottery design. It's like a little piece of art in your hands, ready to jump-start your day on a high note!
The "Butterfly Garden" pattern is a true delight for the eyes. With its predominantly white color and accents in blue, it features design elements that incorporate beautiful butterflies and flowers. The white background sets the stage for a band of delicate white flowers outlined in blue, stretching through the center from two adjacent corners. As you explore the pattern further, you'll find a few large butterflies gracefully scattered across the remaining 3/4 of the mug. It's a harmonious blend of nature-inspired artistry that will surely captivate your senses.
But that's not all! The "Butterfly Garden" pattern falls under the Traditional level of artistry in the world of Polish pottery. These patterns are not only the most common and recognizable, but they are also created using the "punching" technique of hand stamping. Highly skilled artists channel their creativity and inspiration from nature to bring you a diverse range of designs and colors. While these patterns are considered "simpler," they are in high demand, and a large pool of talented artists work together to satisfy that demand. Each piece is unique, showcasing the individual touch of the artist behind it.
With a capacity of 10 oz (1.25 cups), a width of 5" (including the handle), and a height of 3.5", this mug is both practical and aesthetically pleasing. You can confidently use it in your dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, freezer, and even oven (up to 425 degrees). Made from high-quality materials, it's tough, chip-resistant, and free of lead, nickel, and cadmium.

Cleaning
Polish Pottery is Dishwasher safe! Or, clean by hand using regular dish soap and scrub brush.
Guidelines to keep your pottery in excellent condition:
You may safely use Polish pottery in the microwave and in a conventional oven at temperatures up to 425°F. We recommend you heat your stoneware up to temperature with the oven. Make sure to always cover the entire bottom of the dish when baking. For example, you don't want to put a single chicken breast in the center of a baker and leave the rest of the surface area uncovered, as the empty spots will heat at a different rate than those with food on them. Polish pottery does not like quick changes in temperature or uneven heat sources, and thermal shock WILL result in a broken dish.
Never place your pottery directly on a hot stovetop burner!
While Polish pottery is extremely durable, it should not be taken directly from the freezer and placed into a hot oven. In addition, cold water or frozen food should not be placed in a hot piece of pottery. Always allow cooling or warming to room temperatures before heating in an oven or placing in a freezer. If taken care of properly, your Polish pottery can last for generations!
