Imagine a splash of classic Grecian charm right in your kitchen! The Polish Pottery Cutting Board, rectangular and perfect in size at 11.5" x 5.75", isn't just a kitchen utility but a piece of art. Crafted by the renowned artisans of Zaklady in Boleslawiec, Poland, this cutting board features the delightful "Grecian Dot" pattern. With its vibrant blue hues punctuated by classic white dots and encircled with a border of Grecian square swirls in soothing greens, it transforms everyday cooking into a stylish affair. Whether you're dicing veggies, slicing bread, or serving an array of cheeses, this board brings both functionality and aesthetic pleasure to the table.
Not just for chopping and serving, this versatile board also doubles as a charming kitchen display. Hang it on your kitchen wall to add a decorative touch and keep it within easy reach. Each board is a testament to traditional Polish craftsmanship, using the age-old "punching" technique where skilled artists hand-stamp each design, making every piece uniquely yours. The robust build, approximately 0.25" thick, ensures durability and resistance to chipping, promising years of reliable service. Plus, it's completely safe for use with food and beverages and can withstand the dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, and even the oven up to 425 degrees!
Produced by Zaklady Ceramiczne, the oldest and largest manufacturer of Polish pottery, this cutting board is steeped in rich history and exceptional quality. Founded in the 1800s and surviving through the devastations of World War II, Zaklady's factory stands as a beacon of enduring craftsmanship and heritage. Each piece not only adheres to the highest standards of functionality but also brings the legendary Polish artistic expression right to your home. Mix and match with other Polish pottery items to create a stunning ensemble that will captivate your guests and make every meal a celebration of beauty and tradition.

Cleaning
Polish Pottery is Dishwasher safe! Or, clean by hand using regular dish soap and scrub brush.
Guidelines to keep your pottery in excellent condition:
You may safely use Polish pottery in the microwave and in a conventional oven at temperatures up to 425°F. We recommend you heat your stoneware up to temperature with the oven. Make sure to always cover the entire bottom of the dish when baking. For example, you don't want to put a single chicken breast in the center of a baker and leave the rest of the surface area uncovered, as the empty spots will heat at a different rate than those with food on them. Polish pottery does not like quick changes in temperature or uneven heat sources, and thermal shock WILL result in a broken dish.
Never place your pottery directly on a hot stovetop burner!
While Polish pottery is extremely durable, it should not be taken directly from the freezer and placed into a hot oven. In addition, cold water or frozen food should not be placed in a hot piece of pottery. Always allow cooling or warming to room temperatures before heating in an oven or placing in a freezer. If taken care of properly, your Polish pottery can last for generations!
