Introducing the Polish Pottery Wedge-Shaped Bowl by Manufaktura in the captivating "Mosquito" pattern. These bowls are not only visually stunning, but also incredibly versatile! Sold individually, they are perfect for serving side dishes, snacks, dips, nuts, or even candy! The possibilities are endless.
But wait, it gets even better! Combine three of these wedge-shaped bowls to form a circle and create a unique serving platter for different kinds of dips and spreads. Or, why not line them up in a row for a fun and creative way to serve toppings for salads, ice cream sundaes, or anything else your heart desires. With Polish pottery, the only limit is your imagination!
Let's talk about the "Mosquito" pattern itself. Picture this: a beautiful combination of circles and dots in a predominantly blue color, with accents in white and brown. The center features white polka-dots against a vibrant blue background, while the edges boast a captivating alternating pattern of brown circles and teal green "mosquitoes". It's a feast for the eyes!
Now, let's delve into the artistry behind this pattern. It falls under the Traditional level of artistry, which happens to be the most common and recognizable pattern in the world of Polish pottery. Skilled artists use the "punching" technique of hand stamping to create an array of designs and colors inspired by nature. These "simpler" patterns have no production limit, and a large pool of artists come together to meet the demand. This means that each piece is unique and carries the touch of its creator.
Made and hand-painted in Boleslawiec, Poland by skilled artisans, this Polish Pottery Wedge-Shaped Bowl is both functional and beautiful. It's a fantastic way to add splashes of color to your home, and you can mix and match with other pieces to create stunning combinations that will impress your guests. Plus, it's food and beverage safe, making it perfect for all your kitchen needs. And did we mention it's dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, freezer, and oven safe up to 425 degrees? Talk about convenience!
This particular bowl was manufactured by Manufaktura, the first manufacturer of Polish pottery that The Polish Pottery Outlet chose to work with when they opened their doors in 2006. Established in 1992, Manufaktura has gained recognition for their stunning designs and their efforts to promote Polish pottery around the world. They are considered trendsetters in the pottery industry and are highly regarded as one of the most important producers of Polish pottery in Boleslawiec. So, when you purchase this bowl, you're not only getting a beautiful piece of art, but also a piece of history.

Cleaning
Polish Pottery is Dishwasher safe! Or, clean by hand using regular dish soap and scrub brush.
Guidelines to keep your pottery in excellent condition:
You may safely use Polish pottery in the microwave and in a conventional oven at temperatures up to 425°F. We recommend you heat your stoneware up to temperature with the oven. Make sure to always cover the entire bottom of the dish when baking. For example, you don't want to put a single chicken breast in the center of a baker and leave the rest of the surface area uncovered, as the empty spots will heat at a different rate than those with food on them. Polish pottery does not like quick changes in temperature or uneven heat sources, and thermal shock WILL result in a broken dish.
Never place your pottery directly on a hot stovetop burner!
While Polish pottery is extremely durable, it should not be taken directly from the freezer and placed into a hot oven. In addition, cold water or frozen food should not be placed in a hot piece of pottery. Always allow cooling or warming to room temperatures before heating in an oven or placing in a freezer. If taken care of properly, your Polish pottery can last for generations!
