Crafted in the heart of Boleslawiec, Poland, this enchanting piece boasts the traditional "Grecian Dot" pattern—a mesmerizing blend of classic white dots elegantly placed on a rich blue backdrop, encircled by Grecian square swirls in vibrant shades of blue and green. Each bowl is a testament to the timeless artistry that Polish pottery is renowned for, making it not just a container for sugar, but a centerpiece of conversation.
This exquisite sugar bowl is not just about looks; it embodies the remarkable craftsmanship of Zaklady Ceramiczne, the oldest and largest Polish pottery manufacturer, which still holds its prestigious government-owned status. Standing 4 inches tall and equally wide, this bowl is meticulously hand-painted by highly skilled artisans using the traditional "punching" technique. Each dot and swirl is stamped by hand, ensuring that no two pieces are exactly alike. This method not only celebrates the uniqueness of each piece but also breathes life into the "Grecian Dot" design, making every bowl a personal treasure.
Not only is this Polish pottery sugar bowl a visual treat, it's built to last and handle the rigors of everyday use. Whether it's serving up sugar for a cozy tea time or safely being washed in the dishwasher, this bowl handles it all with grace. It's microwave, freezer, and oven safe (up to 425 degrees), and completely free from lead, nickel, and cadmium, ensuring safety and durability. Mix and match it with other unique patterns from Zaklady's collection to create a stunning array of tableware that's sure to impress. Bring home this blend of functionality and artistry and let your table tell a story of tradition, beauty, and unmatched quality.

Cleaning
Polish Pottery is Dishwasher safe! Or, clean by hand using regular dish soap and scrub brush.
Guidelines to keep your pottery in excellent condition:
You may safely use Polish pottery in the microwave and in a conventional oven at temperatures up to 425°F. We recommend you heat your stoneware up to temperature with the oven. Make sure to always cover the entire bottom of the dish when baking. For example, you don't want to put a single chicken breast in the center of a baker and leave the rest of the surface area uncovered, as the empty spots will heat at a different rate than those with food on them. Polish pottery does not like quick changes in temperature or uneven heat sources, and thermal shock WILL result in a broken dish.
Never place your pottery directly on a hot stovetop burner!
While Polish pottery is extremely durable, it should not be taken directly from the freezer and placed into a hot oven. In addition, cold water or frozen food should not be placed in a hot piece of pottery. Always allow cooling or warming to room temperatures before heating in an oven or placing in a freezer. If taken care of properly, your Polish pottery can last for generations!
