This delightful 4.25" scalloped, shallow bowl is more than just a dish; it's a versatile gem that can grace your home as a jewelry holder, a chic candle holder, or simply as an eye-catching piece of bookshelf decor. The "Scandinavian Scarlet" pattern isn’t just any design; it belongs to the elite Unikat category, denoting a level of artistry that transcends the ordinary. Unikat, meaning 'unique' in Polish, represents designs that are more intricate and involve a broader palette of colors and motifs. Each Unikat piece bears a special stamp on its base, a mark of authenticity and exclusivity, signifying that the pattern is proprietary to the manufacturer. These pieces are crafted by a select group of artists who have reached a pinnacle of pottery painting prowess, making this bowl not only a functional utensil but also a collector's delight. This small yet stunning bowl is perfect for those who appreciate art that tells a story and serves a purpose.
Not only is this Polish pottery piece a visual treat, but it's also built to last and handle the rigors of everyday use. Whether it’s serving up snacks, holding your precious trinkets, or simply sitting pretty on a mantelpiece, this bowl is designed for versatility and durability. It’s safe for use in the dishwasher, microwave, freezer, and even the oven—withstanding temperatures up to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Free of lead, nickel, and cadmium, it ensures that safety and style go hand in hand. By choosing this Manufaktura masterpiece, you're not just buying a bowl; you're embracing a slice of Polish heritage and artisanal excellence that will brighten your home and table for years to come.

Cleaning
Polish Pottery is Dishwasher safe! Or, clean by hand using regular dish soap and scrub brush.
Guidelines to keep your pottery in excellent condition:
You may safely use Polish pottery in the microwave and in a conventional oven at temperatures up to 425°F. We recommend you heat your stoneware up to temperature with the oven. Make sure to always cover the entire bottom of the dish when baking. For example, you don't want to put a single chicken breast in the center of a baker and leave the rest of the surface area uncovered, as the empty spots will heat at a different rate than those with food on them. Polish pottery does not like quick changes in temperature or uneven heat sources, and thermal shock WILL result in a broken dish.
Never place your pottery directly on a hot stovetop burner!
While Polish pottery is extremely durable, it should not be taken directly from the freezer and placed into a hot oven. In addition, cold water or frozen food should not be placed in a hot piece of pottery. Always allow cooling or warming to room temperatures before heating in an oven or placing in a freezer. If taken care of properly, your Polish pottery can last for generations!
