Imagine a chilly evening, the scent of pine in the air and a cozy fire crackling in the hearth. Now picture a charming little bowl on your mantelpiece, catching the firelight and drawing the eye with its intricate, snowy design. The Polish Pottery Bowl from Manufaktura, adorned with the delightful "Snowy Pines" pattern, is just that piece! At a petite 4.25 inches, this scalloped, shallow bowl is versatile enough to be a jewelry dish, a quaint candle holder, or simply a captivating piece of bookshelf decor. Each bowl is a testament to the rich tradition of Polish craftsmanship, lovingly hand-painted in the vibrant hues of winter by the artisans of Boleslawiec, Poland.
The "Snowy Pines" pattern is a heartwarming dance of Christmas motifs cast against a predominantly blue background with playful accents of green and white. Central to its charm is a band of teal Christmas trees encircling a flurry of tiny white dots, reminiscent of a gentle snowfall. Above this, twin bands of simple blue snowflakes set against a white sky complete the wintry tableau. This design, crafted using the age-old "punching" technique of hand stamping, is categorized under Traditional patterns in Polish pottery. These patterns, known for their straightforward yet captivating beauty, allow for endless production, meaning each piece is unique, reflecting the individual style of the artist who created it.
This charming bowl isn’t just a feast for the eyes; it’s built to last and handle the rigors of daily use. Safe for the dishwasher, microwave, freezer, and even the oven (up to 425 degrees), it’s as practical as it is pretty. Made from materials free of lead, nickel, and cadmium, it ensures that it’s not only durable and chip-resistant but also safe for serving food and beverages. Whether you’re looking to jazz up your dining table or add a splash of color to your décor, this Polish Pottery Bowl by Manufaktura is an excellent choice. It reflects a legacy of quality and beauty, upheld since Manufaktura’s establishment in 1992, and continues to set trends in the pottery world to this day.

Cleaning
Polish Pottery is Dishwasher safe! Or, clean by hand using regular dish soap and scrub brush.
Guidelines to keep your pottery in excellent condition:
You may safely use Polish pottery in the microwave and in a conventional oven at temperatures up to 425°F. We recommend you heat your stoneware up to temperature with the oven. Make sure to always cover the entire bottom of the dish when baking. For example, you don't want to put a single chicken breast in the center of a baker and leave the rest of the surface area uncovered, as the empty spots will heat at a different rate than those with food on them. Polish pottery does not like quick changes in temperature or uneven heat sources, and thermal shock WILL result in a broken dish.
Never place your pottery directly on a hot stovetop burner!
While Polish pottery is extremely durable, it should not be taken directly from the freezer and placed into a hot oven. In addition, cold water or frozen food should not be placed in a hot piece of pottery. Always allow cooling or warming to room temperatures before heating in an oven or placing in a freezer. If taken care of properly, your Polish pottery can last for generations!
