The Manufaktura Polish Pottery Baker, measuring an ample 11" x 14", is not just any baking dish—it's a canvas showcasing the vibrant "Poppy Garden" pattern. This pattern features charming white flowers nestled against a serene blue backdrop in the center, surrounded by a lively band of large red poppies with green stems, all set against a crisp white background. Crafted in Boleslawiec, Poland, by skilled artisans, this baker combines traditional craftsmanship with eye-catching design, turning every meal into a festive occasion.

This exquisite piece of Polish pottery isn't just pleasing to the eye; it's designed for ease of use and durability. Safe for use in the dishwasher, microwave, freezer, and oven (up to 425 degrees), it promises hassle-free cooking and simple cleanup. Whether you're whipping up a family-sized lasagna or a decadent blueberry cobbler, this baker handles it all gracefully. Moreover, each piece is hand-painted using the "punching" technique of hand stamping, where artists, inspired largely by nature, create patterns that are both simple and infinitely varied. No two pieces are exactly alike, thanks to the individual artistry and the traditional patterns that have become beloved symbols of Polish heritage.

Not only is the Manufaktura Polish Pottery Baker a testament to the rich pottery traditions of Boleslawiec, but it also represents the innovation and quality that have made Manufaktura a leader in the pottery industry since 1992. As the first manufacturer partnered with The Polish Pottery Outlet back in 2006, Manufaktura has set trends and won accolades for promoting Polish pottery globally. Each purchase supports these artisans and helps continue the legacy of these beautiful, functional art pieces. So why settle for ordinary cookware when you can add a splash of color and history to your kitchen with this stunning Polish pottery piece?

Care information

Cleaning

Polish Pottery is Dishwasher safe! Or, clean by hand using regular dish soap and scrub brush.

Guidelines to keep your pottery in excellent condition:

You may safely use Polish pottery in the microwave and in a conventional oven at temperatures up to 425°F. We recommend you heat your stoneware up to temperature with the oven. Make sure to always cover the entire bottom of the dish when baking. For example, you don't want to put a single chicken breast in the center of a baker and leave the rest of the surface area uncovered, as the empty spots will heat at a different rate than those with food on them. Polish pottery does not like quick changes in temperature or uneven heat sources, and thermal shock WILL result in a broken dish.

Never place your pottery directly on a hot stovetop burner!

While Polish pottery is extremely durable, it should not be taken directly from the freezer and placed into a hot oven. In addition, cold water or frozen food should not be placed in a hot piece of pottery. Always allow cooling or warming to room temperatures before heating in an oven or placing in a freezer. If taken care of properly, your Polish pottery can last for generations!
