Dan Danner |

Greetings Art Lovers and Judges,

Thanks to all of our wonderful participants! As you will see, Polish Pottery lends itself to creativity, and why not? It is truly "functional art".

The photo contest was announced in our August newsletter, and the deadline for entries was August 31st. In total, we received almost 100 pictures. The deadline to submit your vote is September 15th, 2017. We will tally the votes and announce the winner in our October newsletter and here on this blog.

Please submit your vote to contest@polishpotteryheaven.com with the photo entry number (located in the lower right hand corner of each photo) in the subject line. Please, only one vote per person, but invite all your Polish Pottery friends to join in and vote.

     Without further adieu:

Kathy,

Had a hard time between #3 and #18, love the simplicity of both. But, #18 gets my vote for the use of lighting and composition. All entries were amazing and I got a lot of ideas!

I am a quilter and find that putting different pieces of Polish pottery together is like mixing and matching fabric. The colors and “textures” in the patterns play beautifully off of each other. I love serving out of them.

Bobbie Andrews,

33

Krista Payne ,

I vote for 034 (mine). Greedy, I know.
