Also known as "French Butter Keeper," your butter will stay fresh much longer while sitting above a bath of water. Simply place a small amount of water in the bottom dish, fill the top half of the crock with your favorite butter or margarine, and leave on your kitchen counter or dining room table for fresh, spreadable butter any time! Pro tip: add a dash of salt to the water to prevent molding along the edges, allowing you to change the water less frequently!
