Introducing the Polish Pottery 9" Bowl by Manufaktura in the captivating "Ducks in a Row" pattern (P323). This bowl is not only a practical choice for serving salads, pastas, or stews, but it also doubles as a perfect mixing bowl! The "Ducks in a Row" pattern showcases delightful design elements, featuring majestic ducks in a predominantly blue color with accents in green and white, and a touch of gold. Its white background with a light blue weave in the center sets the stage for large green ducks with blue heads, gracefully facing counterclockwise. Surrounding the center are charming green and brown cattail plants, completing this picturesque scene.
This pattern is not just your ordinary design; it is considered to be at the Unikat level of artistry. Unikat patterns, meaning "Unique" in Polish, take artistry to the next level. As artists hone their skills, they are encouraged to create Unikat designs, which incorporate more intricate details and a greater number of colors and elements. You can easily identify Unikat patterns by the "UNIKAT" stamp on the bottom, serving as a sort of copyright symbol, indicating that the pattern belongs to that specific manufacturer.
Since Unikat patterns require more work and attention to detail, they are painted by a select group of artists and are slightly more expensive than Traditional patterns. But the extra effort and care put into creating these masterpieces are well worth it. The Polish Pottery 9" Bowl in the "Ducks in a Row" pattern is truly a work of art that adds a touch of elegance to any table setting.
With dimensions of 9" in diameter and 3.75" in height, this bowl has a generous capacity of 64 oz. (8 cups). Each piece is meticulously made and hand-painted in Boleslawiec, Poland by skilled artisans. Polish Pottery is not only functional but also beautiful, offering a wonderful way to incorporate vibrant colors into your home. Cleaning
Polish Pottery is Dishwasher safe! Or, clean by hand using regular dish soap and scrub brush.
Guidelines to keep your pottery in excellent condition:
You may safely use Polish pottery in the microwave and in a conventional oven at temperatures up to 425°F. We recommend you heat your stoneware up to temperature with the oven. Make sure to always cover the entire bottom of the dish when baking. For example, you don't want to put a single chicken breast in the center of a baker and leave the rest of the surface area uncovered, as the empty spots will heat at a different rate than those with food on them. Polish pottery does not like quick changes in temperature or uneven heat sources, and thermal shock WILL result in a broken dish.
Never place your pottery directly on a hot stovetop burner!
While Polish pottery is extremely durable, it should not be taken directly from the freezer and placed into a hot oven. In addition, cold water or frozen food should not be placed in a hot piece of pottery. Always allow cooling or warming to room temperatures before heating in an oven or placing in a freezer. If taken care of properly, your Polish pottery can last for generations!
