About this product

Introducing the Polish Pottery Large Latte/Soup Cups by Manufaktura in the charming "Bouquet in a Basket" pattern (JZK). These wide mugs are not just your ordinary cups, they are versatile and perfect for enjoying a comforting bowl of soup, a steaming cup of coffee, or a soothing pot of tea. The "Bouquet in a Basket" pattern features a delightful combination of design elements, incorporating beautiful flowers and baskets, in a predominantly warm brown color with accents of blue and peach, and a crisp white background.

As you gaze upon these cups, you'll be captivated by the intricate details that adorn them. The pattern showcases a lovely orange center with delicate white dots and elegant blue ovals drawn over it. What truly sets this pattern apart are the exquisite, larger peach-colored flowers that connect with smaller flowers in shades of blue, yellow, and orange, forming a delightful chain around the center. It's no wonder that this pattern is considered a signature level of artistry, where artists who have achieved the highest level of accomplishment in their field have the privilege of creating their own designs from start to finish.

Each piece in the "Bouquet in a Basket" pattern is meticulously crafted and overseen by the designing artists themselves. This means that the supply is limited, making these cups truly treasured collector's items. Look for the "UNIKAT" stamp on the bottom, along with the artist's signature, as a mark of authenticity. The painstaking attention to detail and design is evident in every piece, turning them into true works of art that will add a touch of elegance to your home.

Not only are these cups visually stunning, but they are also highly functional. With a capacity of 18 oz (2.25 cups), they are perfect for enjoying a generous serving of your favorite beverage or a hearty bowl of soup. The cups measure 5.75" wide, including the handle, and stand at a height of 3.5". Made and hand-painted in Boleslawiec, Poland by skilled artisans, these cups are a testament to the rich tradition of Polish pottery.

When it comes to Polish Pottery, the possibilities are endless. Mix and match different patterns to create stunning combinations that will impress your guests. Not only are these cups food and beverage safe, but they are also safe for the dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, freezer, and oven (up to 425 degrees). Made from high-quality materials, they are tough, durable, and chip-resistant. Plus, you can have peace of mind knowing that they are free of lead, nickel, and cadmium.

These stunning cups were manufactured by Manufaktura, the first manufacturer of Polish pottery that The Polish Pottery Outlet chose to work with when they opened in 2006. Established in 1992, Manufaktura has gained recognition for their exceptional designs and their dedication to promoting Polish pottery worldwide. They are considered trendsetters in the pottery industry and are highly regarded as one of the most important producers of Polish pottery in Boleslawiec.

Care information

Cleaning

Polish Pottery is Dishwasher safe! Or, clean by hand using regular dish soap and scrub brush.

Guidelines to keep your pottery in excellent condition:

You may safely use Polish pottery in the microwave and in a conventional oven at temperatures up to 425°F. We recommend you heat your stoneware up to temperature with the oven. Make sure to always cover the entire bottom of the dish when baking. For example, you don't want to put a single chicken breast in the center of a baker and leave the rest of the surface area uncovered, as the empty spots will heat at a different rate than those with food on them. Polish pottery does not like quick changes in temperature or uneven heat sources, and thermal shock WILL result in a broken dish.

Never place your pottery directly on a hot stovetop burner!

While Polish pottery is extremely durable, it should not be taken directly from the freezer and placed into a hot oven. In addition, cold water or frozen food should not be placed in a hot piece of pottery. Always allow cooling or warming to room temperatures before heating in an oven or placing in a freezer. If taken care of properly, your Polish pottery can last for generations!
