Now, let's talk about the mesmerizing "Butterflies in Flight" pattern. Picture this: a burst of vibrant blue color with accents of yellow and green and pops of orange. The center of the pattern features delicate orange flowers scattered in bands, while tiny teal grass tufts create a lively background. Surrounding the flowers are pairs of charming orange blossoms on a crisp white background, accompanied by elegant dark blue butterflies. This pattern is truly a work of art, and it is considered to be of the highest level of artistry - the Signature level.
What makes Signature patterns so special, you ask? Well, these patterns are created by artists who have achieved the highest level of accomplishment in their field. They have the privilege of designing their own patterns from start to finish, and they oversee the production of each and every piece. This means that the supply is limited, making these mugs true collector's items. You can easily spot a Signature pattern by the "UNIKAT" stamp and the artist's signature on the bottom. The attention to detail and design in these mugs is truly remarkable, turning them into genuine works of art.
But let's not forget about the practical aspects of this mug. It has a capacity of 16 oz. (or 20 oz. if you fill it to the brim), and its dimensions are 5.5" wide (including the handle) and 4.5" tall. Made and hand-painted in Boleslawiec, Poland by skilled artisans, these mugs are not only beautiful but also functional. Polish Pottery is known for its ability to add splashes of color to any home, and with these mugs, you can mix and match different patterns to create stunning combinations that will impress your guests.
When it comes to safety, this mug ticks all the boxes. It is food and beverage safe, making it perfect for everyday use. It is also dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, freezer, and oven safe up to 425 degrees. Plus, it is made of high-quality materials that are tough, durable, and chip resistant. And here's an added bonus - it is free of lead, nickel, and cadmium. So you can enjoy your coffee or tea without any worries about harmful substances.
This particular mug was manufactured by Manufaktura, the first manufacturer of Polish pottery that The Polish Pottery Outlet chose to work with when they opened in 2006. Established in 1992, Manufaktura has not only won awards for their stunning designs but also for their efforts to promote Polish pottery worldwide. Cleaning
Polish Pottery is Dishwasher safe! Or, clean by hand using regular dish soap and scrub brush.
Guidelines to keep your pottery in excellent condition:
You may safely use Polish pottery in the microwave and in a conventional oven at temperatures up to 425°F. We recommend you heat your stoneware up to temperature with the oven. Make sure to always cover the entire bottom of the dish when baking. For example, you don't want to put a single chicken breast in the center of a baker and leave the rest of the surface area uncovered, as the empty spots will heat at a different rate than those with food on them. Polish pottery does not like quick changes in temperature or uneven heat sources, and thermal shock WILL result in a broken dish.
Never place your pottery directly on a hot stovetop burner!
While Polish pottery is extremely durable, it should not be taken directly from the freezer and placed into a hot oven. In addition, cold water or frozen food should not be placed in a hot piece of pottery. Always allow cooling or warming to room temperatures before heating in an oven or placing in a freezer. If taken care of properly, your Polish pottery can last for generations!
