Introducing the Polish Pottery 9.5" x 8.25" Large Fish Platter by Manufaktura in the delightful "Mosquito" pattern! While it's the perfect serving platter for fish, this adorable fish-shaped plate is also great for appetizers, desserts, or any of your other favorite culinary creations. Who knew a fish could be so versatile?
The "Mosquito" pattern is truly something special. With its design elements incorporating circles and dots in a predominantly blue color with accents in white and brown, this pattern is sure to catch your eye. The center of the plate features white polka-dots against a beautiful blue background, while the edges boast an alternating pattern of brown circles and teal green "mosquitoes." It's a unique and playful design that will add a touch of whimsy to any table setting.
But what makes this pattern even more extraordinary is its level of artistry. The "Mosquito" pattern falls under the Traditional category, which is the most common and recognizable in the world of Polish pottery. Highly skilled artists use the "punching" technique of hand stamping to create an array of designs and colors inspired by nature. These "simpler" patterns have no limit in production, allowing a large pool of artists to satisfy the demand. As a result, each piece may vary slightly, making it truly one-of-a-kind.
Not only is this fish platter visually stunning, but it's also highly functional. With dimensions of 9.5" long x 8.25" wide x 1.5" deep, it offers plenty of space for your culinary creations. Made and hand-painted in Boleslawiec, Poland by skilled artisans, you can trust that this platter is of the highest quality.
When it comes to Polish Pottery, the possibilities are endless. Mix and match different pieces to create stunning combinations that will impress your guests. And the best part? Polish Pottery is not only beautiful, but also food and beverage safe. It's safe for the dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, freezer, and oven (up to 425 degrees). Plus, the high-quality materials used are tough, durable, and chip resistant. You can enjoy your Polish Pottery for years to come.
Manufactured by Manufaktura, the first manufacturer of Polish pottery that The Polish Pottery Outlet chose to work with when they opened in 2006, this fish platter is a testament to their stunning designs and efforts to promote Polish pottery around the world. With over 20 years of experience, Manufaktura is seen as a trendsetter in the pottery industry and one of the most important producers of Polish pottery in Boleslawiec. By choosing this fish platter, you're not only adding a beautiful piece to your collection, but also supporting a brand that values craftsmanship and artistry.

Cleaning
Polish Pottery is Dishwasher safe! Or, clean by hand using regular dish soap and scrub brush.
Guidelines to keep your pottery in excellent condition:
You may safely use Polish pottery in the microwave and in a conventional oven at temperatures up to 425°F. We recommend you heat your stoneware up to temperature with the oven. Make sure to always cover the entire bottom of the dish when baking. For example, you don't want to put a single chicken breast in the center of a baker and leave the rest of the surface area uncovered, as the empty spots will heat at a different rate than those with food on them. Polish pottery does not like quick changes in temperature or uneven heat sources, and thermal shock WILL result in a broken dish.
Never place your pottery directly on a hot stovetop burner!
While Polish pottery is extremely durable, it should not be taken directly from the freezer and placed into a hot oven. In addition, cold water or frozen food should not be placed in a hot piece of pottery. Always allow cooling or warming to room temperatures before heating in an oven or placing in a freezer. If taken care of properly, your Polish pottery can last for generations!
