Greetings Art Lovers and Judges,
Thanks to all of our wonderful participants! As you will see, Polish Pottery lends itself to creativity, and why not? It is truly "functional art".
The photo contest was announced in our August newsletter, and the deadline for entries was August 31st. In total, we received almost 100 pictures. The deadline to submit your vote is September 15th, 2017. We will tally the votes and announce the winner in our October newsletter and here on this blog.
Please submit your vote to contest@polishpotteryheaven.com with the photo entry number (located in the lower right hand corner of each photo) in the subject line. Please, only one vote per person, but invite all your Polish Pottery friends to join in and vote.
Without further adieu:
Thanks to all of the contestants for their great efforts. Good Luck!!!
#18. Love the play of light.
I bought my small-belly-mosquito-mug in Görlitz a few years ago, when I went there with a close friend. My friend died unexpectedly some time later, so when dropped that cup on the floor and broke it, I was pretty sad about it. An internet search found your company and cup, and I am so happy to have a beautiful reminder of a happy time.
Photos 4 and 52 are my faves—great eye appeal.

I am a quilter and find that putting different pieces of Polish pottery together is like mixing and matching fabric. The colors and “textures” in the patterns play beautifully off of each other. I love serving out of them.

I vote for 034 (mine). Greedy, I know.

I love so many pieces, some for the shape and others for the patterns. My favs are the pedestal bowls in 018 and 075, the tall coffee//teapot blue dot to dot in 055, the covered casserole in 061 and the flower vessel with a handle in 017. I love the cobalt blue dot pattern.
